Saving Pvt. Newspapers

Here's a national marketing campaign I thought up that stresses the best feature and biggest benefit of newspapers:

That's really, really good.

Unfortunately, in my case the dang WSJ refuses to die.

There are several weeks-worth of folded Weekend Editions and editorial pages scattered in tote- bags, a laptop carrier, behind couch cushions and stuffed in my van's seat backs.

I really meant to 'dispatch' them in a timely manner, but life happens.

The Wall Street Journal sometimes still gets read and then placed on the floor of the parrot palace.

That is so true! And...if what you've read raises your blood pressure you can do any number of destructive things to the paper (throw, tear, burn, stomp). Do that to your monitor...well.

I love newspapers. There is no better source of yesterday's feed from the AP.
