Why take a walk on the Champs Elysees when you can take a walk on the wild side? Too bad about Paris. It had nice ideals.
Posted by gerardvanderleun at September 14, 2016 9:01 AMWhere do all these guys go to take one? Never made it to Paris, but of the dozen or so euro cities I do know, most had pissoirs, but not all that many. And when it's time for a dump? I always went back to the hotel. Even the restaurants and clubs that had one were so lacking that I wouldn't use it. Boggles the mind.
Posted by: BillH at September 14, 2016 9:28 AMMy wife and i almost went there ten years ago. I am very glad we decided not to. I imagine the stank is about the same as it is in San Francisco where they just shit where they stand.
Posted by: eclectic kelvin at September 14, 2016 9:47 AMI never got to see it.

Posted by: jwm at September 14, 2016 9:14 PMParis, once city of light,
Turning now to city of blight.
Cowering, caviling Parisians
Blind to all that's in plain sight.
Forgotten their rallying martial call,
'Til time to kneel to the guillotine's fall.
