I kinda like the idea of Post-Traumatic Slave Syndrome (PTSS). Sure, it sound like utter bullshit and I can't imagine *any* plausible mechanism that would encode in individual's memory into their DNA.

But if I get busted for cannibalism, that's what I'm going with. Sorry, dudes. It's in my DNA. My Neanderthal ancestors and all that. *I'm* the victim here!
