I propose draconian and insensitive remedies: identify, isolate, kill, burn. Simplistic but imminently feasible given the primitive conditions, the remote areas, the low genetic makeup.
Hold on, not racist - just the facts.
The logistics support this strategy. Isolated and easily cordoned off, far enough from civilization that travel can be monitored and interrupted.
I bet there are some killings, out in the boonies where the sun don't shine, but not enough. Instead of three thousand troops and tons of money we should have sent napalm, flamethrowers and D10 Cats.
Highly unlikely this will happen — no press and no money changing hands, greasing wheels and whatnot.
This plays better: Uncle Sam the Samaritan Man. We have landed a couple thousand troops and wheelbarrows full of equipment and bales of money in, where, Liberia?
Just think, donuts and coffee from the Red Cross and ten percent error rate. Photo ops abound: a suited up doctor (or maintenance man, who knows?) patting a victim on the back there, there. A pristine treatment room, all shiny glass and steel, for looks, not for blood and mucus and excrement all over the place, with a smell that would knock a buzzard off a gut wagon.

This ebola thing will probably be the breaking point for me as an American. This is the line and no further. If they cant keep liberians out of our country who are in the process of coughing up a lung, then they are worse than useless. They are anti American in all the senses of the word.

Thank you for capturing EXACTLY my feelings, except for one thing. They're not incompetent, it's DELIBERATE. They hate this country, they hate you and me, plus they're obsessed with "Gaia" and believe that 90 percent of the human population needs to be killed off for the good of the earth -- oh, and to make it easier for THEM to achieve control over the whole human race. The less people, the easier to control. Plague/pestilence/pandemic is simply the most efficient, effective way to achieve mass die-off. Google "depopulation new world order" sometime. Until you do, you really can't fathom how sick and evil they truly are. (But take it from me: DON'T do that google search right before bedtime!)

I agree, the events of the last year or so were premeditated. The Trojan Horse was the breakdown of our southern border.

All the uncontrolled ingress of plague-ridden and diseased people, all the criminals of the cartels, all the Islamic terrorists, they just waltz across the border, often getting govt-sponsored transportation, some water borttles and a bus ticket to flyover country.

I live in Borderland in a dinky little town with barely a Walgreens so not many will stop here but I am concerned by the possibilities and the proximity of these wretched people.

Not much reassurance. I wonder if the DC crowd has an antidote, a vaccine they will pull out of a hat?
They might skip that step and start rounding folks up for the FEMA camps. Of course like the boxcars, some were shunted to deserted areas with trenches and D10s waiting patiently.

I predict that it will come to panic and shoot on sight out on the streets. Unfortunately the targets will be Blacks, odds-on favorites to be carrying the plague and easy to spot.

Dodging bullets will give them rambunctious ones something to do instead of looting stores.

I further predict that we should watch the money/power people. When they start heading for the bunkers we are doomed.
