Brain-Dead Teen, Only Capable Of Rolling Eyes And Texting, To Be Euthanized

The parents of 13-year old Caitlin Teagart have decided to end her life, saying she can now do nothing but lay on the couch and whine about things being "gay."

Just think of it as abortion in the umpteenth trimester.

Exactly. Post-partum abortion in the 39th trimester. Who can argue with a woman's right to choose?

Anyone else find this far more disturbing than actually funny?

This is sick. I can't think of any way to put a positive or humorous spin on this. Heart weeps.

After watching again I offer a solution for her parents. I am 65 years old, raised five children and am semi retired but I will adopt her so they don't have to "put up" with her any more. Do not kill this child. And that "doctor" should be tarred and feathered. Sorry this story touches me so deeply that I may become irrational.

Not sure which is funnier, and more repulsive, the video or some of these commentors. Hope I die before I get old.

They are allowed to euthanize 12 year old girls who are terminally ill in Belgium. Dark as this skit is, it isn't far from the truth. Consider the trend of adoptive parents returning children they've adopted from other countries to the adoption agencies. It's evil, but not surprising when you think about it, after all. In the name of 'choice' which is just a euphemism for convenience, women may murder their unborn. There's always a bright and shiny new euphemism to salve the seared conscience.
Here's a good example of a nation that really understood the power of euphemism (lies.)

Pssst, tripletap! It is satire. Heavy-handed satire from 'The Onion'. *Very* heavy-handed satire. They are making fun of typical teenage girl behavior. And taking a swipe at the euthanasia movement. While Milo & I might get called for piling on, that was a poke at the pro-abortion/Woman's Choice movement - if it's OK to snuff humans at a certain stage of life, where do you draw the line?

Let me say your confusion is understandable. It has become harder and harder to distinguish current events and news reporting from humor in its various (and often lame) forms. As Jewel points out, change a couple details, move the whole mess to Belgium and you have just another entry in the daily news cycle.

Sorry it freaked you out.

I realize this is a joke. However, if confronted by an actual kid acting that way, you can really get them moving if you take a can of shaving cream and fill the back of the hoodie. I have had quite satisfactory results with that technique.

It took about 3 seconds for the humor to kick in. Now I can't stop laughing.
