Birth of the F4 Moore Twister

Charles Cook captured the six minutes of the 5-20-13 tornado's chilling beginnings from a mall parking lot on his cell phone camera.

"Incredible video my Dad took of the May 20th tornado FORMING and destroying everything in its path near Newcastle, OK. He was out that way for work today and just happened to be in the right place at the right time. He was worried it was going to come back at him and was searching for a way to scoot out its way once he was able to gauge how insanely close it was to him. He hung in there, though. Unbelievable." -- From Reddit

Large video after the jump.

Amazing what a crap, boring speech it was. If it wasn't for the noise, I'm sure most people would nod off listening to such meaningless recycle of crap clichés and tired old tropes.

Sure, he knows how to work the crowd, what with Hess as warm up man and on again at the end to propose the Seig Heil but it was still a bloody awful speech. How he rose to the top while spewing stuff like that makes the whole thing even more astonishing. Maybe there is a Devil after all.

That funnel cloud is the stuff of nightmares, like a phantom floating over the prairie. Damn.
