Paging news editors: "There's no rule that says your "red vs blue" maps have to be colored the way they were in 2000 and 2004. So why not flip the colors around? After all, you had no agenda when you decided upon those two colors. Right?" - Lou Minatti

It's Still Warm By The Stove: "I take one look at you and know that you never spent one moment in squalor, but your life is squalid. You're a gilt-edge leather-bound thirty-dollar Bible with all the pages written by Beelzebub." - Sippican Cottage

The Jane Galt Tax Plan: "Eliminate all deductions. Period, end of statement. No mortgate, student, child, etc. All causes are equally worthy in the eyes of the person who possesses the deduction; it is a waste of our time as a nation to sit around arguing about who deserves what." - Megan McArdle, Taxes Revolt

Dress for Distress: "While I have long been aware that the bow tie acts as a ferocious irritant upon the politically immature, it is only recently that I have noticed that the combination of a bow tie and a dissenting perspective on some contentious subject produces instant frenzy." - Roger's Rules

The Postmodern Campaign where "the medium is the message." Well, it's more than that: it's performance -- performance art, as John Dickerson suggests. And it's feelings. Or as Julio Iglesias, Sr., once crooned, "Nothing more than feelings." - American Thinker
