Basketball: Losing at Winning

Word Around the Net takes a shot @ CORRUPT REFS "Everyone who watches the game knows [the refs cheat], even the fans who pretend otherwise because they love a certain player."

I haven't watched an NBA game since Michael Jordan beat the Jazz in the finals by running five paces between dribble for forty minutes straight.

I followed the standings in a cursory manner for a few more years until I realized that small market teams win a statistically impossible number of home games during the course of the regular season...

Life is too short to pay attention to a parlor trick you've already figured out.
