Al and Arnold: The Not So Odd Couple of Montecito UPDATE: Maria "Transitions"

aiGore_Schwarzenegger2.jpgThe news that the California RINO is leaving lantern jaw behind and moving to Splitsville is not a shock to those on the inside track and those who cam hear the down-low; those in on the skinny, those sworn to the QT, and those at home with the very Hollywood hush-hush.

Ever since the LA Times blew the gaff with Arnold and Maria split: Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver to separate we've known this move is only a follow-up to the real plan Arnold and his ur-husband Al have been hatching for over a year since the fateful day the global greeniacs's world was rocked with Report: Gore Divorce Fueled by Affair.

That report held, of course, that one "Laurie David" was the reason for the the Gore's good times falling down and going boom. Now we can reveal that Laurie David was only a beard set up to distract Tipper from who was really the topper. Nearly a year later, the glove that dare not speak its name comes off and we can see that the hidden hand deep inside the Gore divorce was an Arnold not an echo.

Speaking on deep background, David Geffen assured the press that all was right with the world. "It's a good thing that for Al and Arnie the truth is no longer inconvenient."

Rumor has it that, as we go to press, various weight lifting and work-out machines can be seen being moved into the Gore Montecito mansion along with a small squadron of Mexican boys to help the new couple set up housekeeping, keep up on the landscaping, and sing them both to sleep at night.

UPDATE: Is there a gender reassignment in Maria's Future? She's getting really, really interested in "transition."

Horry Clap - I'm channeling you - or the other way.

Yep, Arnie has been on the down-low since he started Pumping Iron.

Hmm...I get the feeling that you're alluding to something in your article, but the subtlety has me puzzled.

"Laurie David was only a beard "
"the glove that dare not speak its name"
"It's a good thing that for Al and Arnie the truth is no longer inconvenient."
"David Geffen"

Damn, I'm trying with all my brain power to figure out this riddle, but I got nuthin'.

At least they look happy and gay in that picture.

I love this "inside baseball" stuff. I wonder who's catching?

This cannot be true... Is it?

Supposedly, in his early struggling bodybuilding days, Arnie "hustled rich queers" or something, but, if true, it was likely entirely mercenary.

I don't know if Gerard is pulling our leg here. I think that Maria starting to look more and more like her mother is reason enough for Arnold to go looking elesewhere.

Amusing, but it is also a bit of a relief to figure that Arnold was not actually pumping Maria. That is as unnatural as Bill and Hillary.
Al and Arnold. Ahlnold?

True, false, it's all good.

This quote, referenced in today's PowerLine, seems apt:

For as much as has been written about Gandhi, I had no idea that he dumped his wife for a German bodybuilder named Hermann Kallenbach. "How completely you have taken possession of my body," Gandhi wrote to Kallenbach. Is it too much to suspect that this sheds light on the origins of Gandhi's pro-Nazi tendencies?
