"This Makes Any Civilized Person Absolutely Sick"

I've long held a poor opinion of Geraldo Rivera, but this brief video redeems him in my eyes.

See if you don't agree. Watch Geraldo Rivera reports on a civilian casualty.

This is the result of the insurgent action.

A young woman, a civilian, ...just torn to pieces by an insurgent shell.

What's the point of this insurgency?

What are they fighting for?

To kill an innocent woman who wants to go vote?

What's the point of this?

What are these "heroes" after?

This makes any civilized person absolutely sick.

This... God rest her soul... this is deplorable.

He was actually shedding tears on several occasions. I agree. His stock went way up from where it was in my portfolio. But wait ... the Jackson trial will give him plenty to step into.

Who would have believed two years ago that today Geraldo would be less repellent than just about anyone else reporting from Iraq? Good for him. He's been around the American fighting man too long to believe the happy horseshit his media pals put forth.

Anyone who's not deeply moved by this election is broken inside. We should feel sorry for such people.

I agree. Geraldo has been a characture of himself for so many years, and now we find he's re-born as a real person. I wondered why Fox would hire him in the first place, but now he's earned his keep.

Yes: 'redemption' is the word that came to mind as I watched this. To me he used to be a scary-dumb clown, but now he's a clown full of heart.

Sic 'em, clown.
