EYEHEADER.jpg

Taking first this week is Wolf Howling: AP Goes APE Over Texas School Book ChangesIn which AP points at "A far-right faction of the Texas State Board of Education . . ." Not at all, notes Wolf. "How about "a majority of the duly elected members of the Texas State Board of Education?"

In a tie for second we find my own The Plague of Locusts Presidency "All faction, no matter its origin or ideals, is in the end Fascist." and The Razor's United States of Venezuela: "I wish a member of Congress would stand up under the dome and say 'Madame Speaker, have you no shame?'"

Top honors from outside the ranks of the Council were Walter Russell Mead's Is This Lobby Different From All Others?:

What about the red, white and blue ball on the pool table that keeps cozying the blue and white ball with the Star of David no matter where you push it? Why does it behave so strangely?
.... and Melanie Phillips' "The Obama Intifada?"

Other worthy items after the click...
