Something Wonderful: Patrick Henry Redux

I look at all the Founding People.
Fathers who made us "We the people..."

Good Patrick Henry
Gives some advice in a church where no Redcoats have been,
Liberty dreams.

States what's in his soul
Daring to say to the people what he would die for,
Tax us no more.

All the Founding People, why did we all run from?
All the Founding People, we've killed what they have done.

His Excellency, fighting a war for the freedoms that he held so dear.
He had no fear.
Look at him crossing, the Delaware on a Christmas when no one would dare,
He wasn't scared.

I look at all the Founding People,
Fathers who made us "We the people..."

Good Patrick Henry tried to avert what would kill all Our liberties gained,
Congress is shamed.

His Excellency, bribing the Senate on dollar bills,
Making us slaves,
Spit on his grave.

All the Founding People why did we all run from?
All the Founding People, we've killed what they have done
.

That's a keeper.

You're like Serenity's Mr. Universe of the sweet vids.
