"I appealed to your best hopes...."

President Ronald Reagan.jpg
"Whatever else history may say about me when I'm gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears: to your confidence rather than your doubts. My dream is that you will travel the road ahead with liberty's lamp guiding your steps and opportunity's arm steadying your way."

-- President Ronald Reagan, 1992

The spirit of Ronald Reagan, released from the prison of his body,
this day, 2004.

"I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith."

God bless Ronald Reagan, the last decent president this country has had.

May there be another one like him soon to help us, as a nation, love ourselves again and enable all of us to be proud to hold our head high as Americans.

Reagan was the first American president I can remember, and to me remains an icon of America, what it stands for, and how it should be. You've lost a great leader! My condolences to you all.
