Suffer not the old King under any name!: “I am not here as a serf or vassal. I am not begging my lords for mercy."

“I am not here as a serf or vassal. I am not begging my lords for mercy. I’m a born free American woman, wife, mother and citizen. And I’m telling my government that you’ve forgotten your place. It’s not your responsibility to look out for my well-being, and to monitor my speech. It’s not your right to assert an agenda. Your post, the post that you occupy, exists to preserve American liberty. You’ve sworn to perform that duty. And you have faltered.” -- Becky Gerritson

Howso' great their clamour, whatsoe'er their claim,
Suffer not the old King under any name!

Here is naught unproven—here is naught to learn.
It is written what shall fall if the King return.

He shall mark our goings, question whence we came,
Set his guards about us, as in Freedom's name.

He shall take a tribute, toll of all our ware;
He shall change our gold for arms—arms we may not bear.

He shall break his judges if they cross his word;
He shall rule above the Law calling on the Lord.

He shall peep and mutter; and the night shall bring
Watchers 'neath our window, lest we mock the King—

Hate and all division; hosts of hurrying spies;
Money poured in secret, carrion breeding flies.

Strangers of his counsel, hirelings of his pay,
These shall deal our Justice: sell—deny—delay.

So here we are in 2015 serving our government, when it was supposed to have been the other way around!

They have stolen our liberty by chicanery, and I no longer believe we're going to get it back.

Well spoken, but lose the quaver in the voice - shout at those fuckers!

Well worth listening to her entire speech:

The moment she claimed that their sworn duty was to protect American Liberty, every single one of them thought "Oh what a stupid bint! It so is not. WE have been elected for the sole purpose to confiscate money and power from people like you, and give it to people like us and our friends. You're a naif lady, and we can safely ignore you, as you have just shown us that you can be gulled."

In public discourse, it normally ought not to be done. But in this case, she needed to declare the full B&T. Betrayal of the American people who elected them, and Treason against the Constitution and the Republic. Since they don't give a rat's ass what we think, calling them out on B&T will have no more effect than claiming they ... ooh ... faltered." But the overheated words will put them on notice that there are some mighty pissed-off people that are crossing their own personal Rubicons.

There is no other explanation for what has transpired. The IRS has been transformed into a political weapon to be used against any who would dare question the actions of the government. That the traitors passed the Cromnibus in January, giving all the funds requested to all the government agencies, no questions asked, no consequences for misbehavior, shows that they all agree and support the government as it is currently performing. All this is Ruling Party Failure Theater, performed by that gang of sociopaths on us who they believe are so easily gulled.

Betrayal and Treason.

Well, John, an acronym to help crassify the dung beetles you speak of would be WINOS; Worthless, Inept, Noxious, Obnoxious, Slimy. Inept may not be correct since the WINOS are quite good at destruction of the worthwhile.

Too many Americans over the past few generations, and continuing today, have voted to become, in Eric Hoffer's words, "free from freedom." Whether by thoughtful choice or delusion, that's how they've voted, and we have a government that's helping the process along.
