Posted by: Phomchick at July 20, 2016 6:21 PMExcellent speech. I'd love to see her in Trump's cabinet.

Posted by: Jimmy J. at July 20, 2016 8:55 PMShe was great. Also, Marcus Latrell two days ago: great speech, among a few others.

Posted by: Leslie at July 20, 2016 10:06 PMI used to pay attention to people like her, thought they were allies. I ended up concluding it's all a show. She's just another Ruling Party wannabe, and we're the stupid marks.
Lately I've a new thought. Maybe we liberty-ites are wrong. "It's a free country, do whatever you want, I couldn't care less". And we end up with too many people devolving into barbarian behaviors. And civilization falls.
The problem is of course, that they all (D&R alike) think they should be the boss of us. Our objective has to be to hold the middle ground between barbarity and tyranny.
I like what Tolkein said: "I am a Christian, and indeed a Roman Catholic, so that I do not expect 'history' to be anything but a 'long defeat'—though it contains . . . some samples or glimpses of final victory.”
Posted by: John A. Fleming at July 20, 2016 10:13 PMGreat speech. Checked her bio at Wikipedia. Interesting woman.
Posted by: Rlc2 at July 21, 2016 8:34 AMShe should lay off the plastics. Doesn't look like herself anymore.
Posted by: pbird at July 21, 2016 9:13 AMAnnnnd in the "Trending News" sidebar on Faceberg: "Laura Ingram appears to give Nazi salute"
They never stop. They never rest. They never come up with anything new. Nazi salute.
I would so love to be able to punch one of these creeps in the face. And I'd give 'em one for Chasmatic as well.

Posted by: jwm at July 21, 2016 9:49 AMAs a skeptic of great magnitude, when I watched this and appreciated this woman's skillful speech, my immediate reaction was-- OH! Another 2020 candidate brushing up on their skills for the next race. I will stipulate though that she was a refreshing change from the spoiled meat we have been served with over the last several years in the campaign melee.
Posted by: Dink Newcomb at July 23, 2016 5:22 AMToo bad her children don't have a father to teach them respect.
