Obama Sermon to "Go to Eleven"

This just in:

Drew tells me that the Obama camp has leaked to MSNBC ... and they say the speech will be the Greatest Thing Imaginable for Obama. - Ace
I can hear the exclusive pre-game interview, by that gabby MSNBC jockcaster Chris Matthews now:

Obama: This speech goes to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Chris Matthews: Oh, I see. And most speeches go up to ten?
Obama: Exactly, but previously only mine.
Chris Matthews: Does that mean it's loftier? Is it any loftier?
Obama: Well, it's one loftier, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most candidates, you know, will be speaking at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on the podium. Where can you go from there? Where?
Chris Matthews: I don't know.
Obama: Nowhere. Exactly. What I do is, if Ineed that extra push to the top of the mountain, you know what I do?
Chris Matthews: Put it up to eleven.
Obama: Eleven. Exactly. One loftier.
Chris Matthews: Why don't you just make ten loftier and make ten be the top number and make that a little loftier?
Obama: [pause] This speech goes to eleven.

Remember Bill Clinton's speech that went on and on like the Energizer bunny? Obama could learn a thing or two from that.

Will two leperechauns come out on stage and dance around a miniature Stonehenge?

Obama is a man measurable in inches, and we need one measured in feet.

For the headline of a story reporting on the Greatest Thing Imaginable for Obama, after it's delivered, I submit the following:

"On Mile High Odyssey, Obama Cracks Homer Greek Style"
