Obama: No Surprise That Hard-Pressed Urban Ghetto Blacks Turn Bitter

We all know what Obama had to say about those poor, 'baccy chewin' crackers: Obama: No Surprise That Hard-Pressed Pennsylvanians Turn Bitter AKA "A category II Kinsley gaffe." -- offically defined as "when a politician tells the truth."

How much of a category II Kinsley gaffe? Let's imagine the same statement with just a slight shift in, ur, demographic focus:

"You go into some of these urban ghettos in Maryland, and like a lot of urban ghettos in the Chicago and New York, the work ethic has been gone now for 50 years and nothing's replaced it except crack, welfare, bastardy and gang banging. And then welfare got cut in the Clinton administration, and in the Bush administration no child left behind increased the high school drop-out rate, and each successive administration has said that somehow these Democratic plantation ghettos with their hate-Whitey churches, such as my own, are gonna regenerate but all they do is degenerate.

"So it's not surprising that blacks in urban ghettos get bitter, they cling to guns, drug dealing, racist rap groups, gang-banging, frantic feel-good religions, or antipathy to people who aren't black like them, or anti-semitic sentiments, or anti-Asian, anti-white sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

"I think what you'll find in these urban ghettos is, is that people of every background, from blathering preacher to wanna-be-rap-star gone street hustler, to con-artist, to layabout, to crack whore, to welfare scamming professional, to junkie -- there are gonna be a mix of people. You can go in the toughest urban ghettos, you know gang-banging drug-dealing folks, you'll find Obama enthusiasts... The important thing is that you show up and you're doing your best to keep these eternal prisoners of the urban ghetto right there on the Democratic plantation so those votes keep rolling in. I want to thank all you rich white folks here in the Bay Area for writing those checks to keep that dream alive."
