Let's face it. Nobody, but nobody, in Washington has the smidgen of an iota of a jot of a clue, nor knows what they're doing or where we're going. But, as we are constantly being told, we just gotta get started. So, set the controls for the heart of the sun and...
Yes, nothing like a bunch of multi-ethnic, high-diversity utopians led by an aging skinhead to really sort things out. Favorite line: "I don't want to talk about it. Get it done."
But let's not travel without an appropriate soundtrack. Which soundtrack? Obviously, it's this one. No other quite sums it up:
"No visible means of support
and you have not seen nuthin yet
Everythings stuck together
I dont know what you expect
starring into the tv set
Fighting fire with fire..."
After which the band will perform the predictable encore:
"Heard of a van that is loaded with weapons,
packed up and ready to go
Heard of some gravesites, out by the highway,
a place where nobody knows
The sound of gunfire, off in the distance,
I'm getting used to it now..."
Tout le monde désire un crescendo....

Fear is a big city menace, a symptom of the disease of liberalism. Out here in real America we are girding up for a possible challenge, but we're only afraid, really, that Obama might be elected.

When the bill passes, the market probably goes a bit up, and then long term reality sets in, and the market goes back down hard again.
So quit being asleep at the switch!
Who is going to clean house?
America has a total lack of trust of anyone in Congress, and even less trust yet in Wall Street.
John needs to get on the other side of the ledger on this bail-out. Either way on the bail-out bill, it's a no win either way.
Where we ought to go, FIRST PRINCIPLES WORK!
