Your Sunday BadPolitics News Show: Will They Steal The Election From Bernie Sanders/Donald Trump?

"So the people are speaking and at this point you can expect the establishment to put their fingers in their ears and go, 'LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!' " -- Stefan Molyneux, Freedomain Radio

During the 2016 Presidential Election cycle, the Republican Primary has been the focus of the mainstream media and the candidacy of Hillary Clinton has been seen as inevitable.

Much like Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has changed the plans of the Republican party establishment - Senator Bernie Sanders continues to be a thorn in the side of Clinton and the Democratic National Committee.
The 2016 Democratic National Convention will be held on July 25th, 2016 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With increasing awareness of scandals involving Hillary Clinton – including an upcoming interview with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey – Sanders won’t relent in his battle to become the Democrat nominee for President of the United States.
Much like Trump’s battle against the Republican establishment and the large corporate interests funding the other Presidential candidates, Sanders has faced an uphill battle against the Democrat establishment and the lobbyist/special interest groups which resist political change of any kind.

And.... in case you need to see the flip side of that there's Will They Steal The Election From Donald Trump?

"If you don’t vote the way that your masters want you to vote, are your votes even going to count? The horse-trading that is going to go on with the delegates in a brokered convention is nothing short of obscene. What can go on? You can offer budgets. You can offer special appointments, “Hey would you like to be on the Postal Recalibration Committee? Hey just give me—“ There’s nothing, it seems that any corruption laws can bar. It’s not even clear where being offered direct money for your vote could even be problematic. So it is definitely a kind of a buck or horse trade at the end and the degree to which Republicans do not trust the Republican Party can scarcely be over-stated..... So there is a Republican Party machine. A big, huge layer funded with untold amounts
of money and probably unguessable amounts of money. That’s a Republican Party machine and that party machine stays in power if Hillary Clinton wins but it does not really stay in power if Trump wins.

So they’re fighting for their rights. They’re fighting for their paychecks. They’re fighting for their careers and their true enemy is the person who ends their power. If these guys have been promising benefits to Republicans for decades, Trump gets in by completely ignoring them and bypassing them and he actually does provide these benefits at least to some degree. They’re never going to get hired again, never going to get hired again.

Of course there is a whole donor class. The American donor class loves third world immigrants coming into America because it drives down wages. They love the H1B visa program because they get cheap, pseudo-medieval serfs who get tied to jobs and can’t negotiate and so the Democrats love the third world immigrants for votes and welfare dependency and all that. And the Republican donor class wants all the cheap labor because what does it matter about the future of your country if you’re going to have to pay a buck fifty an hour more for your maid or your gardener. It’s not even comparable."

OK, say they steal that shitty election, then what?

How do you know they didn't steal the last one, and the one before that?

Can you define the word *steal* in this context?

The kind of stealing that concerns me the most is the kind where you receive a paper in the mail that says you are supposed to send a whole bunch of your earnings to a certain address or else.

Marxists fixing elections

How Hillary Clinton Bought the Loyalty of 33 State Democratic Parties:

"Collusion between the Clinton campaign and the DNC allowed Hillary Clinton to buy the loyalty of 33 state Democratic parties last summer. Montana was one of those states. It sold itself for $64,100.

"The Super Delegates now defying democracy with their insistent refusal to change their votes to Sanders in spite of a handful of overwhelming Clinton primary losses in their own states, were arguably part of that deal."

As I documented previously, in Marxist (which is to say, Democrat) theory, the purpose of elections is to give the voters the illusion that they have a say in how things turn out. See here: http://senseofevents.blogspot.com/2016/02/lying-down-with-dogs-and-marxists.html

"Marxists have long noted that insofar as its stated purpose is concerned–determining the question of political power in modern society–it is no more than a charade, a political sleight of hand in which the more things seem to change, the more do they remain the same. But Marxists do not deserve any special credit for making such an observation. One hardly has to be a Marxist to grasp the fact that bourgeois elections do not, in any way, impinge upon or alter questions of power. The general cynicism among the masses toward politics and politicians–a cynicism which runs far deeper than can be measured solely by noting the large numbers of people who do not bother to vote in elections–is itself proof that the futility and corruption of bourgeois politics has become a part of U.S. folklore."
