HT: Claire Wolfe @ Living Freedom who is famous for saying, "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards."

I wouldn't want to mess with Dilbert's Mom, guns or no guns.

Early, but getting later all the time. I'm keeping a weather eye on the horizon...

Claire was wrong. It's too LATE to shoot the bastards. If you're going to PREVENT what we've got now, you have to shoot them when they're too weak to do anything but cringe in response and change their ways. And when you can shoot the RIGHT bastards. Now that they have accumulated this much power, you can only shoot the hirelings, and shooting only gives an excuse to crack down harder - and they certainly have the ability to crack down harder.

Remember Mattathias the priest. It is never too late.

May be why the Maccabees are not in the Protestant Bible.

The real problem is all the moms that aren't Dilbert's mom. They expected the village to raise their children, not caring to think how soon it would be time for The Lottery.
