Great speech. How does this work to convince the half of the country that want it burned to the ground? If we could solve any problem by preaching to the choir we would already have Utopia. What is the reasonable compromise that makes the termite and the exterminator happy?

The longer we keep talking to ourselves, saying and hearing the things we like to say and hear, while not responding to the people that are setting fires across this culture the more of this country that will burn. The people setting fire to this country aren't going to give up on their dream of burning it to the ground simply because we let them know we disapprove or we let them know we have a different dream.

Everything that you like about this country and the culture we used to have is exactly what THEY seek to destroy. Stop telling other conservatives you disapprove of the policy of arson of our opponents. We conservatives already disapprove of their arson policy. The Left are bullies with a contradictory view of this country's future. There is not half-way between their and our view of the future that they will accept. The people on our side eager to accept compromise with The Left are combining with The Left to bring about the burning down of our culture. Our conflict-averse weak sisters keep opening the door for the slasher stalking the neighborhood either because our weak-sisters know they are unable to fight or because they are dumb enough to think we haven't yet tried to compromise.

Whether you like it or not, whether you agree or not; we must fight The Left and we must defeat them if we want to preserve anything of our culture. Anyone, nice or not nice, that tells you there is some alternative to fighting The Left might as well be a traitor because the consequences of delaying this fight with The Left is the same as surrender to The Left. The same weak-sisters that fell for the Gerald Ford, Bob Dole, GHWB, Mitt Romney plan not only have learned nothing from the past, they are people that have chosen they WILL NOT learn a lesson and they will demand we try it again.

If you think things are bad now, and they are, wait and see what things are like after more assaults on our culture. There is nobody to answer the 911 phone call. There are no council of wise-men that will step in if things get bad or Obama goes too far. The weak-sisters won't act now because they hope against hope we won't lose everything. The only thing to prevent us losing everything is fighting now and no more compromise. The desire to avoid a fight is a self-defeating and dysfunctional one. Fight now or forever hold your peace. Delay is surrender. Compromise is surrender.

Preaching to the choir can't hurt, as a good number of them have forgotten how the song goes. As for the rest of the congregation, they all need to hear the song sung correctly, too. Let's hope it doesn't come to arms to accomplish that.
