There was a couple of young, Black rappers at the 9/12 march on DC who were pretty good also. Haven't been able to locate them during a couple quick searches though.

While rap may not be everyone’s cup of tea (pun intended) we need to reach

Hollywood, the TV networks and the MSM wonder why they are going broke. The answer is really quite simple but they come up with all sorts of other reasons why in a vain attempt to avoid the truth. The truth of the matter is that they have intentionally alienated the majority of their potential audience pool with their rabid leftism and sneering disdain and blatant hatred of all who do not go goosestepping along with them. It is now to the point where that audience pool is not coming back even if they did a 180 degree turn-that is how badly they have pissed off those potential users of their products. We have tuned out, turned off and dropped out.

All I have to do to see this is note how my and my relatives and friends behavior has changed towards the entertainment media over the last 10 years and especially over the last five. Almost all have quit watching the broadcast TV networks with a few shows as an exception like "Flashforward" and "V" and the local newscasts. Most have given up their cable TV services because they no longer provide the value for the money-it truly is a vast wasteland of 200 channels and nothing to watch. it used to be that channels like History channel, the Discovery channels and Nat Geo channel were good but they all have descended into being AGW propaganda or thinly veiled revisionist history. Even The Weather Channel is not immune to this syndrome and nowdays gives little real weather info unless it is some big blizzard about to hit New York City and I don't give a damn about New York City. it is easier for me to find out what the weather is going to be like where I live by looking at Intellicast and Weather Underground websites.

Almost all of us have not been to a movie theater in well over five years. In my case the last movie I saw in a theater is "The Return of the King".

We are all buying some DVD's of movies and TV series to add to our libraries but the vast majority of those are old movies like "The Philadelphia Story" or newer Pixar/Disney movies like "Up", box sets of old TV series or miniseries such as "Winds of War", "I, Claudius" and "Shogun". In my sister and her husbands case they buy alot of BBC series like "Midsomer Murders" and in my case "Top Gear".

All of us have been using a good portion of the money we would have spent on "entertainment" on books of all kinds and DIY/gardening equipment and items.

Some of us play MMO's-I play Ever Quest 2 with my nephews and we have a great time. My brother in law likes playing simulation games such as "Railroad Tycoon" and "Civilization".

With all of these people and myself the "entertainment" circle has been broken-they will never go back to the way it was. The automatic assumption with all of us is that any movie/TV show is suspected of being little more then leftist propaganda and will be denigrating and insulting to us until proven otherwise.

I cannot agree more - I've begun sending e-mails whenever I catch them rewriting history. Wish I felt it had an impact, but I do it to let them know someone is paying attention. Last week I sent another to Nat Geo imploring them, once again, to let the facts speak for themselves. My father was a Pearl Harbor survivor - I miss him every minute of every day but am so glad he wasn't here to see what's become of the Country he loved and fought for. I wish I'd missed it, too.
