Liniers-Elephant-Secondary-690.jpg

“In my first draft, I had the elephant sitting on Obama’s head,” says Liniers, the Argentine artist behind next week’s cover. “This version is a bit more subtle.... I hope Obama finds some way to maneuver around this situation.” Obama’s Elephant Problem - The New Yorker

Elsewhere:

My uncle Louie Lozko, we all called him "Letsgo Lozko", he raised bantam chickens. One time he had this old hen and he got 'er to sit on top his head.
She wouldn't squawk or shit on his hat, uh uh, she just sat there. I have a picture of it; if I can find it maybe I'll post it.
