And so, in the heart of The Times’s newsroom, long before the exit polls hinted at an upset — and hours before the news media confirmed Mr. Trump’s earthshaking win — Tom Bodkin, The Times’s design director, quietly looked over one such draft.

“MADAM PRESIDENT,” the would-be headline read.

Seeing that image of twig-armed hipsters chewing their lips bloody in the smoking crater of their hopes and dreams--oh, God, 1000 mg Cialis couldn't give me the feeling I have now.

This is my Nelson Muntz point and laugh.

Ha Hah!

Now, turn that up to Eleventy, and put on continuous loop.

Meanwhile, I'll just sit here and continue to mirthfully enjoy every bit of this momentous win.

I'm just praying for Mattis for SecDef. Geez.

The local peaceniks will have coronaries, and my version of "CPR" will just be more Muntz' pointing and laughing!

Hey -- since for a guy it'd be "Mister President," shouldn't the feminine form (in accordance with current PC doctrine) be "Ms President?" How sexist of them! (It looks like only guys in the picture, too.)

Based on the headline they dreamed up for the Trump win, it should have read:
"Republicans, tax payers, and legal citizens face the reality of a Clinton presidency"

Nailed it, Ghostsniper.
They build obstacles and "ceilings" for themselves, and then celebrate their "great accomplishments" when they "overcome" them.
Oh, for just a little true belief in "content of character" rather than "color of skin" (or sex, sexual orientation, etc etc).
Give me Margaret Thatcher!

"Give me Margaret Thatcher!"

Right.
The real women don't have time nor inclination for crybaby wailing as they are too busy gettin' stuff done.

There is a Providence that looks after fools, drunkards, children, and the United States of America.

Because Hillary Clinton will never be president.
