It's a sick world and it's getting sicker | Item #127,875

Earlier today I was commiserating on the phone with an old friend when I happened, as is my wont, to mention "Pony Girls" and the men who make them trot around. My pal asked me, "What's a 'pony girl'?" To his dismay I subsequently enlightened him. He then reflected that I was the only person he knew that would 1) know what a pony girl was and, 2) mention it on the phone. [No, I'm not going to help you out here. You're an adult. It's entirely between you and Google and whatever government agency is so over-staffed it thinks you are worth tracking.]

I allowed that it had to do with my previous line of work and that the knowledge I gained there was only used in a professional capacity. I reminded him that the iron rule of sex on the internet is: "In the instant you believe that you have at last come to a site that expresses the absolute bottom of human sexual depravity... at that precise instant you will be given a link that takes you five miles deeper."

Half an hour later....

Brought to my attention by davidthompson -- who should know better.

You know, I could have lived my life without ever knowing what that phrase meant and been happier for it.

My innocence is now gone.

Tanks, ma bye!

On the other hand, the sheer proliferation of various fetishes and ever more warped expressions of sexuality ultimately proves that the most sexually subversive lifestyle anyone can live is one constrained by traditional values, where the act may (in the very best of moments) become something touching on the sacred.

I think a web site with the Rule 34 application of Julie's insight would be most interesting. You could probably make money on a good implementation of that.

And I know what Pony Girls are and am stuck trying to figure out how it was worked into a phone conversation with a friend.

Most people get go to the doctor in order to get their bloat sucked. I had no idea that there were people looking to get bloated. Yours is clearly the most educational site after Khan Academy.

I understand now! He's auto-infellating himself!

Disappointing. I thought he was going to pop a valve and fly around the room.

Jewel, that's a gem of a comment.

There was an old (and very innocent) song called 'Pony Girl' that my grandfather used to sing to my mother when he would bounce her on his knee (I even know the words).

Now that I know that the term has .... ummm.... changed, I will be certain to pass that song into 'The Great Forgetting'.

"In the instant that you believe that you have long last come to a site that expresses the absolute bottom of human sexual depravity you will be given a link that takes you five miles deeper."

Oh my yes. About 15 years ago, when I first got into PCs after a career in the mainframe world, I encountered the wide world of the Web, indiscriminately following random links for hours and hours on end.

At one point I ran across an early porn site, which consisted of a menu leading to the perversion of choice. Following a looooong list which advanced quickly from Straight and Gay through Sadism, Masochism, Peeing, Fisting, Animals and Role Play was a topic entitled "Fetish."

I could never explain to anybody why that was so funny....

Thanks for the joke ! And I know what Pony Girls are and am stuck trying to figure out how it was worked into a phone conversation with a friend.
