OK, finally we got the cards on the table. Let's call a spade a spade: there are people of color called "people of color" and there are white people called "white people". Shouldn't they be called "people of no color"?

Here's a simple solution: if people of color don't like white people that much they can avoid all the pitfalls by not working with them. Put more strongly, if they don't like white folks so much, stay the fuck away from them. Learn to read and write and do their own heavy lifting.

They have proven themselves capable in countries in Africa. Run all the whites out and "avoid the pitfalls".

I've worked with blacks, Latinos (actually they called themselves Mexicans), American Indians, Japanese, and Red Necks. I never cared what color their skin was as long as they could do the job - which they all could. Guess I was hard to work with. Who knew?

It would be impossible for me to care less for minority grievances than I already do now. Actually I have a negative care index for "people of color".

As a general rule, I just don't care for a large percentage of blacks. Sure there are the exceptions to the rule, but I just avoid any interaction with them at most any cost.

If progtards had a molecule of honesty in them they'd just come out and say they hate white people in general and white males in particular. I've been calling it the B'Wana Syndrome, and it perfectly describes the Progressive attitude towards race relations: "those poor little brown babies can't help themselves, and need our guidance." I think this is one idea where people of every color can agree, and call Bullsh!t.

I actually saw one about 2 weeks ago, at the dog groomers. She was getting her dog groomed and we spoke briefly.

She was the first "person of color" I had seen in person, up close, in over a year. I hadn't even seen one at distance in months. The conversation was short, friendly, and enjoyable.

The rumor is that there are only about 8 or 10 "persons of color" in the whole county so it is understandable to not see them often and that suits me fine.

In fact, now that I think about it, I haven't seen anyone, colored or non-colored as Chas says, except my wife, in more than a week.

It's nice out here in the forest, we still get to make choices about such things as to whom we will associate. Keeps us civil.

When people are forced to associate friction occurs which builds heat and leads to explosions, people get burned or worse.

As an ex demo specialist I like to initiate explosions as I see fit, not the other way around.

So I'll just stay out here in the woods minding my own business and watch society at a distance as it does a slow burn into cinders.

If I'm not too old I'll break out the broom and dust pan and clean the place up afterward.

I would like to see the personnel breakdown for The Beyond Diversity Resource Center. I'll bet like most of these outfits (MSNBC, SPLC et al) it's as white as an overnight snow with very few, if any flecks of black and yellow here and there.

I TOTALLY agree with the list.

Look at it this way.

Who do "people of color" have to tolerate all day, every day? Who injects themselves, wall to wall, into the lives of "people of color"?

And the answer is ... white liberals, for white liberals are the only people "people of color" ever encounter.

The list CANNOT describe white conservatives because it ONLY describes white liberals.

When I re-read the list in this context, I sez to myself, "Well, I'll be damned. They're exactly right!"

It's not skin color that I have an issue with. I work with lots and lots of dark skinned people and everybody gets along just fine, thank you. No, for the me the issue is not color, it's culture. I don't like the American black culture. I don't like it at all. In my humble opinion it's rotten to the core. It's racist, violent, destructive and self destructive and there's abundant evidence to back that opinion up. If anyone has a problem with that, tough.

Liberals preach against racism of white people against black people. The Mayberry crowd, being cowards at heart, DECIDE that the charge means Leftists are opposed to any racism. The Left never said they were opposed to ALL racism, but the Mayberry Types ASSUME anything a Leftists says is a signal about an underlying RULE. The Mayberry Types REFUSE to see anything as directed PERSONALLY at them, because that might warrant fighting back. Instead they DECIDE a New Rule is in town and they, by golly, will live by any and all rules.

When Leftists make charges or demands they are not publishing some new rule, they are demanding you disarm and surrender. Once you do that a new rule will be created. In fact, there is no rule but Leftists make demands and you are expected to surrender. How many more decades are we going to fill our days PRETENDING to be surprised Leftists have a different rule when the rule we created in our own minds isn't used against some other group?

Stop interpreting what Leftists say as The New Rule. It's not a rule, it a demand on you, and you alone. Leftism isn't about rules, even when they claim it is. Leftism is about power for them. It won't be defeated by logic, or public opinion. It can only be defeated by TAKING power away from them, not changing their minds or appealing to so-called moderates. My grandparents were Italian. Three from Italy, one barely born in the US.

Growing up (in the 50s) we little wops were considered by many to be non-white. Even my mother described herself as brown (God loves brown people more, that's why He made so many of us).

As I got older, I found out I was white. I'm not sure exactly when that happened, but I guess it happened because so many of us passed and intermarried with northern Europeans.

Wow, there's a lot of overhead, apparently, in dealing with dark(er)-skinned people who spend an inordinate amount of time obsessing over their and your skin color. Too much for me, for sure. I do know a lot of dark(er)-skinned people at church and if I know them well enough, just like the white people there, I call "friend". Some of them wear their so-called ethnicity on their sleeves, too. I avoid them like the plague because they need too much care and feeding to nurse their chapped hides and overweening sense of being misunderstood and perpetually offended. And if those black people who act like they like me are merely tolerating me, well, then, that's their problem, isn't it.

But I'll tell you something: There is a shitty rudeness and hypocrisy in thinking ALL white people behave a certain way. I am a white person and I know for a fact that none of us ALL behave in a certain way.

Anyone who thinks, in this day and age and in America, their skin color or physical features are the cause of their failures needs to get their heads examined. Except white males -- because they really are being targeted by everyone! And I hope they start pushing back real soon.

Mayberry has nothing to to with rural/urban, white/black, rich/poor, smart/dumb.

Mayberry Types are people, mostly on our side, that will not under ANY circumstance break out of the polite church social rules of behavior, even when they are being knifed in the back and front by an "outlaw biker gang" masquerading as a political party "Democrats" and ideology (Leftists).

They use their "inside voices" and they avoid reaching unpleasant conclusions about their mortal enemies. It seems their reasoning is that if they actively refuse to diagnose their opponents as evil, vicious, and threatening they can ALWAYS conclude nothing need be done but wait for the next election, and vote for the calmest, most familiar, Establishment-supported "nice guy."

The Left has ridden through Mayberry, smashed as many windows as possible, set fires, shot up the place. It's time to politically string some piano wire across the roads and politically set fire to their clubhouse. Being nice, today, means being a willing victim and giving in to our delusion that we won't be targeted if we just don't draw attention to ourselves. None of us will be left alone, whether we fight back or not. Keeping our head down just makes it easier for The Left to target the people standing upright. Politically, it's time to bum rush The Left and stop them.

The Mayberry Types comfort themselves in their inaction with fantasies that should things get bad enough, they will fight back. They've done nothing about socialized retirement, socialized medicine, socialized schools, armies of thieving politicians and crony businessmen, a leadership that ACTIVELY invites representatives of foreign revolutionary organizations into decision-making, and daily inciting of a future race war targeting white people. All it takes to immobilize 40-55% of reliable Republican voters from resisting The Left is one dishonest charge of racism. Then the Mayberry Types get busy trying to disprove non-existent racism and win the approval of some mythical audience that get's 100% of it's input from Leftist media but is still fairly judging us and withholding judgment about us.

I believe the Republican Party is beyond saving and is completely resistant to reform, so I've been mulling over what just the right name for a new, replacement, party would be? The States Rights party is to limited, and I think it's been done. I was enthusiastic about the name "Reagan-Churchill" Party. But I get tired of explaining the Winston was half American. But while reading all this I just realized what the perfect party name would be.

The Racist Party! We avow the same principals as the Tea Party, and we are open to all Americans of any faith or color who believe in the principals of the US Constitution and none other.

But best of all, when the lib's, the progressives and the race baiters scream "Your a Racist!!!".

We will reply, "Yes WE ARE!".

Please cite specific examples that demonstrate why the Tea Party is racist. Back these examples up with links. What have you been reading here that makes you think racism is a tenet of conservative (or Republican) thinking? Again, cite specific examples to back your claim. If you disagree with the comments here please explain why you think they're wrong and offer your rebuttal. If you can. Ad hominem doesn't count.

The Joke was that in order to flummox the progressives who would attack any new conservative movement and in particular to deny them the opportunity to make a joke of any name that drew on American patriotic or conservative history or heritage by using the liberal buzzword "Racist". A word that they would be completely unable to deal with without their heads exploding.

My second choice was, "The Sweaty Buttocks Party". Either is good.

Accusing people of 'racism' or being 'racist' is a tool. As the tool has aged, the edge has gotten duller and duller, making it less effective.
In response, the tool wielders have begun to swing the tool harder and harder in order to make a dent. They have begun to flail wider and wider as the tool is deflected from its target.
It has become ineffective. I no longer respond to its once strong force.
The last Civil War participant died in 1956, I believe. The last person enslaved in USA was noted to have died the year I was born. 1948
It has been half a century since the Civil Rights Act was passed, and I have joined and left the workforce under it and its brethren EEOC, and AA.
There is no longer any person who can deny that those once oppressed have been freed of that oppression. Well, they can, but their claims are dubious.
Racism has become farcical. It is not racism, but the destruction of the family by LBJ sponsored legislation that removed the need for a two-parent household. Without that need, the family was destroyed, leading to fatherless sons and daughters who knew no example to follow and had no discipline by a two-parent team.
Unless and until the people of color decide to behave by the rules of western civilization, they will continue to be downtrodden and unsuccessful for the majority.
I think the sell-by date is coming soon for the racist study fellowships and grants as they have been nothing but a money-pit and have devoured funds with no results save more claims of racism.
I have been wrong before. I do think people who pay the bills are getting tired of the same thing over and over with the only result being more poor and ignorant people coming of age.

Plus, they have hammers, they have sickles. Each group on the left has their special little axe to grind and as long as appeasing these groups gives the government (either party) an excuse to expand their power, reach and control the game goes on.

It won't be exhaustion or ennui that changes things at this point, it will need a revolutionary U-turn back to where we came from.

John - if I misunderstood your reply, and I guess I did, I sincerely apologize. Didn't mean to be cranky although at my age I guess that now comes naturally. It's just that I generally don't much publicize my world view, at least not in any detail, either in person or by commenting at blogs. I do see though that on the internet people whose views coincide with mine often get pilloried for politically incorrect viewpoints regardless of how true they are. Add to that the fact that nuance is not my strong point and I ended up thinking your comment in reply to me was saying something different than what you meant. Sorry.
