Oh I don't know. They seem to be adding all kinds of meanings to the word "hate" that that word didn't used to have. You know, like this: "I'm not interested in (becoming Muslim/gay/a Democrat)." Or: "I don't think taxpayer's money should go to supporting artists whose only work is peeing on things." Or: "I voted Republican." The response to all these is now: "You're such a hater!"

Oh well. We be rollin'...

I guess the important thing is to actually have something worth saying. That may be what is lacking these days more than anything. Obama can drone on and on, but what has ever actually said?

What does the collective Left say? They seem to be talking and writing and chanting non-stop until you realize they lack original thoughts, only recitations stored in those ivy-league and/or public sector entitlement brains.

I used to admire my Duke-educated relative, until I realized, quite painfully, she was incapable of free thought. Prisoner, perhaps. An elite victim. Still, when she cheered the passage of Obamacare, I decided to just smile nervously and pretend I don't know her from that moment on. Every family has at least one nut, right?

Apropos, Steyn:

"And even if they read the caption and get to the bit about a Toronto public school separating menstruating girls from the rest of the student body and feel their multiculti pieties wobbling just a bit, they can no longer quite articulate on what basis they’re supposed to object to it. Indeed, thanks to the likes of Ontario “Human Rights” Commission chief commissar Barbara Hall, the very words in which they might object to it have been all but criminalized."

So many laws to break, so little time to break them all.

Thanks, Julie. Canadians aren't exactly known for their spirit of civil disobedience, huh? That shit will only fly in blue states and blue cities here and even then, it will be challenged. Where the hell are those angry militant atheists when they are needed?
