I hope he's nominated at a brokered convention. He's not Sarah Palin but he sure beats what's running.

I would like to see something that inspiring. Draft him and Marco Rubio, or Allen West. These are serious men for serious times. As for the path to prosperity...I am not optimistic about prosperity making a comeback any time soon. We need a good, sobering protracted bit of pain in order to teach us 'not to do that' again.

Clearly he chose not to run for a good reason; he os obviously very smart, knowledgeable, certainly not a coward, and is a canny politician, not just a policy nerd. I trust his judgment that he can do more where he is at the moment. Though watch out in eight years.

You know the guy's good because he faced such vicious character assassination from Democrats when he dared to propose a budget.

The sad part is that last year the House passed a budget. Their main Constitutional duty. When it was sent to the Senate Harry Reid refused to even consider it or bring it to committee, his main Constitutional duty. Reid refused to do his job.

Full stop.

But Weepy John The Boenner (mis-spelling intentional) did not scream to the high heavens about this. Why? Is he afraid of losing his place at the trough? Neither did any of the Institutional GoP. Cowards all.

They need to be charged for failure to follow the law of the land. And tried. For treason.

I for one am very tired of these enemies of the Republic.
