Waiting for the War

Back in 2012 in a comment on Side-Lines: "Since the election I’ve noticed a very gloomy and defeatist mindset circulating on the right," John the River remarks, "Just waiting for the war to start. Civil War if we just want to separate, Revolution if we want to take it back."

He's not the first to think or to say this. Nor, even though I admire and think the same thought, is he the first to be wrong. For if John really is "waiting for the war to start," he'd best pack a lunch. It's going to be a long wait.

"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards. On the road to tyranny, we've gone so far that polite political action is about as useless as a miniskirt in a convent." - Claire Wolfe, 101 Things To Do 'Til The Revolution

Still here, still waiting.

A year and a half ago. Ah! Those careful, buoyant days. Before the IRS scandal, before "What difference does it make", even before Putin pulled Barry's shorts up over his head.

Since then we have seen tons of military heavy metal rolling into hundreds of towns and into the hands of Obie's potential brownshirts, the unionized police departments across the country who couldn't wait to try out the cool toys serving warrants for non-payment of speeding tickets or arresting seniors for growing tomatoes indoors under lights.

The plans to remove the 401K personal retirement account option and retrieve all that lovely money for it's rightful owner (The Social Security Administration) are just waiting for the right time to put pen to another Executive Order.

And thought the Regime has been patient, His Majesty is tired of waiting for a conservative SC Justice to retire or die. Maybe just a little push. After all if Obama is a pussy compared to Putin, what does that make Boehner? So what's he going to do, nothing is what.

Who was it that said recently, "Our ancestors started blowing heads off over a tax on their breakfast beverage, they would never have tolerated any of this crap!". So get that drummer onto the village green, sound the drum and muster the milta. It ain't getting any better until it gets a whole lot worst.

"It ain't getting any better until it gets a whole lot worst."

Exactly so.

And, we are going to see who it is that knows what they are about. Most Amerikans are sissified right down to their socks and sandals.

Cowards are the norm. I am ashamed of my fellow so-called patriotic acquaintances. They seem afraid to speak out.

Bring it on. Bring it all on .gov. with your criminal cohorts.

I've since a steady increase in food prices, Gerard. The water is slowly rising in the lower decks. Many people are right.on.edge before they topple over and join the ranks on food stamps (Which will make the Democrats even more powerful).

The math of this slow moving takeover shows that the Democrats will become even more stronger before things get better. My guess is the powers-that-be are hoping that those who still remember being independent individuals will simply die off and the new generations that replace them will gradually ease into serfdom.

Sadly, the math does not look good.

I remember when she first said that. She was wrong then and she's wrong now. It's never too early to kill a tyrant.

Watch the ground beef, the 80/20 stuff, as an inflation indicator. It has risen in price $1.00/lb in the past year. Around here it is now $3.49/lb. I expect it to be at $5.00/lb by the end of the year.

Get your game in order gentlemen, the future is coming fast, now. There will be no explosion on the green. Just a whimper....

It will take a flash point, something like the Bundy incident. If we go out and initiate one we are on lower ground.
It has to be the next time something goes down we push it to the max.
The only other hope will be a putsch, a revolt from within their corrupted inner circle of stooges and tame military.
We cannot depend on the internet to keep us united. it is too distanced and detached and if the lights go out the sats will be dead.
Except for them using them and the GPS systems to find us.

Lord I'm writing too many comments on other peoples blogs later and not writing enough posts on my own!

The thought that occurred to me later was then incredible increase of reported incidences of Secret Service agents getting cashiered or transferred for really stupid collegiate stunts. I mean, booze and hookers? On five continents? Seriously, if Secret Service agents were really prone to that type of behavior where are the accounts of Mamie Eisenhower driving blotto agents back to her crib?

Maybe its really covering up the frisson of men who really love this country being forced into the presence of smarmy self important closet queer and Islamist... whoever could I be referring to?

The Wake-up Call has already been sounded. Our Paul Revere has ridden. The people are dumbed down to such a low ebb they cannot fathom the monster that is already devouring them slowly, ever so slowly.

However, even though the shooting has not started, the will is there in a considerable under the radar mass.

No, Joan, the Secret Service hiring standards were loosened up with everything else in government. Unqualified people were admitted, women and black men first, then promoted far beyond their levels of incompetence. The next thing to happen was that lowered standards and low morale affected everyone. So far as I know, the only service that has been unaffected is special forces, because so many good men fail the training in the first place, and the consequences of pc would be so deadly. But they are trying.

james: I agree, the Secret Service is as inept as you suggest. I wonder why so many of the pols are still alive?

When I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are
added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I receive 4 emails with the exact same comment.
Is there an easy method you can remove me
from that service? Appreciate it!
