Discovered in the House of Eratosthenes "This clip didn’t make it on to SNL this weekend…it was, as they say, 'cut for time'."

Lonngg Time since I watched that show.

OK, I'm stumped. What was supposed to be the point of that "skit?".

I've missed so much the last 30 or 40 years. I remember the routine with, I think, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner as really dorky kids. If I remember correctly, Gilda would often say something like, "That's so funny I forgot to laugh."

Yep.

It could actually be funny if performed by actors and comedians.

I got it. I laughed. Not hard, but I laughed. It was funny, just not hilarious.

That means I'm more clued in than you guys. But don't worry: it's perfectly OK to be out of the loop on this stuff.

My uncle Louie Lozko whom we all called "Letsgo Lozko", he raised bantam chickens. He would do Señor Wences skits for his hens.
He said "dey all squawk same vay vedder I do Wences or read phone book. Dey only chickens, ya?"
