The Untruth About Donald Trump

Yes, it is slightly over an hour long. Nevertheless it is the best summation and clarification of the Donald Trump campaign from its inception to this week. Get a beverage of choice and make it full screen. It's worth it.

Stefan Molyneux Of Freedomain Radio:

Since 1988, Donald Trump has been discussed as a potential United States presidential candidate, but when he officially announced his candidacy on June 16, 2015 the mainstream media refused to believe it. Over the next many months, Donald Trump would be attacked and criticized by the media – but were these criticisms legitimate? What is the Untruth About Donald Trump?

Where's the "Trump is an asshole" entry? Should be at least one entry a month, and maybe daily for the last week.

Trump did make fun of that disabled reporter, no doubt about it. He was dramatically mocking his disability. It was not just a screen grab that was manipulated by the media.

Trump also recently told the New York Times he would put in a tariff on Chinese exports, and the rate should be 45%. Then he denied it when the story ran. After that, the New York Times released the audio. Trump still denied it. I believe the Times is full of left wing idiots, but they released an audio conversation (these board interviews are always recorded) and yes, he said 45% tariff on Chinese exports.

I will not deny what I see or what I hear just because the GOP has failed this country for decades.

I want to root for Trump because he would shake up the system like no one else. But honestly, this guy is a pathological liar and I don't find him to be particularly smart.

Reading down that list was like standing in line at the grocery cashier staring aimlessly at the current issue of Cosmo or something.

American's seem to be mostly frivolous ninnies constantly looking for reasons no matter how silly to get their thongs in a twist.

I thought, TLDR, but was captured and watched the whole thing. Good Job!

Alas, The Donald has ducked into the Establishment tent with his blatant bribe promising greater ethanol levels in gasoline for Iowa votes.
His art of the deal is beginning to smell like the fart of the deal.

Val @2:25PM
The Donald came on as anti-Establishment, pro-citizen until recently. He did what he thought was necessary in Iowa re ethanol to improve his chance of winning in the Iowa caucus. Instead of promoting his independence from the power manipulators by emphasizing his citizen-centered positions, he abandoned them in favor of power-broker support.
What else will he abandon under stress? There are our allies, Taiwan, Japan, Israel, ... and opponents Russia, China, Iran, Islam, ... What deals/compromises/abandonments are in the offing to achieve agreements?
Otherwise, I would agree with the values he's brought to the contest.

Too much perfection is a mistake.

Watched the whole thing, good stuff. I've been a Trump supporter from the beginning. Not because I think he is America's best choice, but because he is the best choice running. I've grown to loath the standing congressional Republicans and the GOP in general. It is my hope that Donald Trump breaks the Republican's back. Thanks for presenting this video Gerard.

Posted by: tonynoboloney at January 23, 2016 7:08 PM

@Val
I watched the video. It's emotional and powerful, and I get it. The government has failed to secure the border and Trump is promising a solution. He speaks for how we feel about our country and our borders.

Trump has destroyed political correctness, or at least seems to be immune to it. Love that! But damn, can this guy give a serious, detailed foreign or domestic policy speech that last 15 minutes without denigrating his opponents? I would like to see that. Show me some intellect; not just ideas like temporarily 'ban all Muslims' from entering the country - which is dangerously stupid to say and impossible to enforce.

Posted by: Max at January 24, 2016 7:14 AM

I am endorsing no one, however, I do not like "Kelo", and think that Mr Trump is pretty thin-skinned, and not very conservative.

This may or may not be helpful to all:

Is he Hercules? Can he clear the Augean Stables of Washington or will he just add to the crap that's already there?

Only way to find out is suck it and see. He certainly can't be worse than the current incumbent and the thought of the HillBilly Mob retaking the Oral Office is deep!y depressing. Only a little less so is the thought of Bernie Socialist camping there for a term. Ye Gods!!

Posted by: Frank P at January 24, 2016 8:09 AM

@tomw

You say Trump is "not very conservative"
as if that's a bad thing!

More to the point, those conservatives who have gotten into power
have accomplished little to nothing significant...
...and too many sold out to the Democrat's goals.

In any case, Trump
1) wants to build a wall, stop illegal immigration, and begin deportation,
2) wants to stop Common Core federalization of education,
3) doesn’t support the TPP trade deal, and
4) wants to actually repeal ObamaCare and replace with market/consumer approach.

Those priorities are "conservative enough" for me.

I hadn't watched the Molyneux presentation when I commented at 08:09 above. Now that I have I can only make one further remark: "Go Hercules!"

Stephan's best fisking of the MSM so far.

clint, that is - at best - a COWARDLY compilation.
Without knowing HOW OLD those quotes are, it's trash.
Good luck on enjoying your last, few,
desperate days with Cruz still in the campaign.
