I have seem many Anti-war and Obama stickers on cars. I never asked the driver's opinion because I would get a stupid answer. I really wanted to ask the person with the "I am against the next war also" sticker as their windows was down and I could just shout but I was with people.

But I bet the owner of this car---the one who applied the No Blood for Oil sticker---is against the Keystone Pipeline.

My ex-pal in Brooklyn, he went to school there. UC Berkeley? then NYU. He was of the same sentiment, no blood for oil, we had it coming, it's always something with Israel...he's still stuck I guess, we don't talk anymore. He sent an email in 2008 titled "Yes, we can" I followed up with a couple of years worth of "Yes, you did" emails, that did it. Shame, they won't spare him, anymore than they will me.

The beautiful thing about "progressives" is realizing they will spend their time on Earth forever pretzeling to keep up with their own logic. Seeing the fear behind their eyes when they encounter anybody but a Kool-Aid drinker is an ongoing education.

The week Teh 0ne had the Dali Lama exit the White House via the back door I encountered a woman with:
"Free Tibet!" and "Obama '08" stickers on her car.

"So? Which one are you going to scrape off?" I asked.

She just glared at me.

I felt all warm and fuzzy.

It is one thing to be stupid. Liberals go one step further by displaying their stupidity.

My uncle Louie Lozko, we all call him "Letsgo Lozko", he raised bantam chickens. His chickens are smarter than liberals.

The progs are right about one thing - the oil. If the Muslim world wasn't sitting on top of 25% of the world's reserves, and if we hadn't gone over there and drilled it for them, they would be a bunch of camel and goat herders raging about the infidels under the desert stars. Instead, all that oil is fueling the war they are waging. When their oil runs out, the war will be over.

I have heard it suggested that if we allow in-country oil gathering we can supply our needs for a number of years.
Refusing Mideast oil will result in an over-abundance for them. They'd have to cap the wells or have knee deep oil everywhere.
It sounds nice, don't know if it is true.

Posted by: chasmatic at September 12, 2014 10:10 PM

Jimmy is right. That's why we (the US and the West writ large) need to expand our own energy resources. The less dependent we are on Middle East cesspools (or Russia, in Europe's case), the better off we are. And the more the Middle East is reduced to irrelevancy, the safer we'll all be.

Why do you think the "environmentalists" try to prevent us from developing any energy alternatives to oil, and then from developing our own oil? It's because they want us to be at the mercy of the medieval barbarians they ally with... they understand that the enemy of their enemy is their friend.

Posted by: Ray Van Dune at September 13, 2014 8:23 AM

Of course, when those leftist allies have outlived their usefulness, the medieval barbarians will turn on them so fast it'll make your head swim. And since Muslim extremists feel no obligation to respond to lawsuits, legislation, or unfavorable editorials in the NYT or Village Voice, the left will be impotent to combat them.
