Today's predictable "Baltimore! Oh Baltimore!"editorial in the Wall St. Journal (The Blue-City Model) comes to an obvious conclusion with the old policy bromides the Journal's editors always slather on:

Of late the progressives have been making a comeback, led by Bill de Blasio in New York and the challenge to sometime reform Mayor Rahm Emanuel in Chicago. This week’s nightmare in Baltimore shows where this leads. It’s time for a new urban renewal, this time built on the ideas of private economic development, personal responsibility, “broken windows” policing, and education choice.

All of which would lead sensible people -- those not autonodding in brain-pithed agreement, to respond, "Oh blah, blah, blah..... blah-blah."

When it comes to the left-behinds in urban black ghettos from coast to coast calling for "new" urban renewal at this point is indeed so much blah-blah; pure blather. If you've had urban reNEWal already "new renewal" is just a case of trying to find a way to chrome a turd. You might be able to spray something on but it will never survive buffing.

Billions upon billions of dollars and decades of effort have gone down the drain of the left-behinds to no effect other than enriching the scamsters of "urban renewal." Baltimore is good solid case study in the proposition that nothing other than firm and unwavering policing over decades will help a deserted population captive to its nature as much as its nurture.

The first job of government (free or fascist) is, after all, the maintenance of public order. Without public order nothing good can thrive and without public order, as we see in the burned out and trashed businesses of Baltimore, nothing good can survive.

Once the flames have become ashes and the new cars driving in to haul loot away have faded away there is one lesson that Baltimore's taught other urban ghettos watching the fun on their flatscreen TVs: The police are frightened of those they are asked to police and the politicians who rule the police are even more terrified of the ghetto population. What other ghettos from Brooklyn to LA learn from Baltimore is that if they appear as flash riot mobs in enough numbers they will be able to loot as they please. Baltimore's rulers have assured the left-behinds that the cops won't come in shooting. And they won't.

Until they do. Or until the National Guard does.

Or until someone else entirely does.

The head instigator of our current race riots, Barack Obama, has defined the red-hot Baltimore riots “a slow-rolling crisis.... This is not new, and we shouldn’t pretend that it’s new.” He might as well have added that under his leadership the race rioting will get worse since his minions cannot let "a slow-rolling crisis" go to waste. It will get worse and spread because what Obama and his cohort teach is essentially 'looting will be tolerated within zones that will be protected by the police we control.'

As human beings have learned for centuries this sort of approach does not stop looting, it encourages it.

What stops looting is the shooting of looters. On sight. In the street. Dead. "Pour encourage les autres."

it may be that, over time, the Wall Street Journal's tired prescription of "private economic development, personal responsibility, “broken windows” policing, and education choice," might help a small percentage of the festering "left-behind" populations in our urban black ghettos. But that, even were it magically instituted today, would take generations to bear even marginal fruit.

What's facing the nation in the Spring of 2015 is a whole smorgasbord of urban riot hot spots that have all been given permission from their leader Obama and his subordinates in state and local governments to riot and loot as soon as some pretext happens in their hood. It's a method of making sure that an update of "The Long Hot Summer of 1967" -- a record year for race riots with 159 riots -- is part of Obama's enduring legacy.

What we are seeing here is what happens when a racist like Obama strolls the country sloshing gasoline on ghettos for years and then warns the police to not, even if they are about to be "killed in the line of duty," to not ever make the smallest little spark.

It won't work. Sooner or later either the police, the urban rioters, or even more shadowy forces are going to start putting bullets into crowds of rioters. When that happens the rioters that have been harbored inside our cities and taught only dependency and violence will try to leave their urban spaces. And when that happens it would wise for such ambitious rioters to remember two things:

1. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of veterans currently own rifles strikingly similar to those they carried in the armed forces, lacking only the full-automatic selector switch. Their brothers, sisters, parents, friends, and neighbors who did not serve in the military are often just as familiar with the weapons, if not the tactics.

2. There are a far greater number of scoped bolt-action hunting rifles in private hands in the United States. Keep this number in mind: based on deer stamps sold, approximately twenty million Americans venture into the woods every fall armed with such rifles, fully intending to shoot and kill a two-hundred-pound mammal. Millions of these scoped bolt-action deer rifles are quite capable of hitting a man-sized target at ranges out to and even beyond a thousand yards, or nearly three-fifths of a mile. In that context, the 500-yard effective range of the average semi-auto AR-pattern rifle is not at all remarkable. Bracken: When The Music Stops

As is always the case, lack of firm policing and appeasement and the creation of "a safe space for those that want to destroy," just leads to wider and more virulent violence. At this moment the "new" attorney general of the United States is at her first press conference blathering on about "Developing a conversation with the Baltimore police department...." Like the Wall Street Journal bromides her predictable blah-blah bromides will also fall on ears deafened by decades of rap and crack with literally nothing left to lose.

Ah, the good old days. In 1968 I was just beginning my life as an airline pilot. Many times during the next four years I looked down on cities such as Baltimore and Los Angeles seeing vast swathes of buildings ablaze. And the layovers in Baltimore, D.C., New York and LA with sub-machine gun toting cops with dogs protecting the hotel lobbies. What fond memories.

Those passions cooled down some and life became more normal, but nothing really changed. The dysfunctions of black communities remained and even got worse with more bastardy, fewer family units, more drugs, and, with the prodding of the race hustlers, greater entitlement mentalities.

Where are the water cannons? Water cannons are the best non-lethal form of crowd and riot control developed to date. A whiff of grapeshot takes the fight out of potential rioters, but so do high-powered streams of water. Of course that option isn't available to water-starved California, but where there's water they should be in use. From Wiki: " Water cannons designed for riot control are still made in the United States and the United Kingdom, but most products are exported, particularly to Africa and parts of Asia. ......... Water cannon are still in use on a large scale in Turkey, Chile, Germany, Northern Ireland, Belgium and other parts of Europe. The annual riots on 1 May in Berlin, the Schanzenfest fair in Hamburg, which regularly ends in riots, or other demonstrations, are usually accompanied by water cannon, which support riot police. German communities use their water cannon in hot summers to water public parks. The Turkish police water cannon TOMA has been used against protestors many times, including the 2013 protests in Turkey,[5] and are often present at protests of all sizes."

Water cannons can help control the crowds more effectively, but only a concerted effort by blacks themselves will change their lot in life. Why do some succeed and others don't? I know several fine black men. One of them lives across the street from me. He's a good neighbor. Has the same values and intentions as me. He gives the lie to the claim that the deck is stacked against blacks. How to solve it is a dilemma, but it's not going to be solved as long as we have race hustlers like Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, and Holder fanning the flames.

Yes, like the confederates in the Civil War, we will beat them and beat them and beat them. But it is THEY who have the resources and WE don't. Totalitarians around the world will funnel money to people like the Clintons to keep there side energized (Not to mention fresh zombies crossing our borders). They WANT a 'Civil War' and in this case we MUST NOT let this happen as we will be playing into theri hands. I fear it will end the Republic forever.

The Leftists WANT a shooting war so Martial law can be implemented. They've done this before time and time again.. and everytime, they've won. The Leftists/Communists BEAT the White Russians during the Russian Revolution and they were the most armed populus on the planet at that time.

This is not the usual armed conflict battle as it is a NEW kind of warfare brought about by Modern Technology. This is Ideologicial Warefare and the West has NOT caught up with the Socialist/Communist Totalitarians

In this kind of warfare, the battle is over the lines of communications - not territories, but of minds. Our side has truth, theres is propaganda.

...and if there is a 'war' do NOT go after the zombies, go after the Media.

Its the media. They are the leftist Front line troops. Target the Media first and the zombies in the streets no longer have their marching orders. The zombies are stupid and lazy because they got free 'Hay and a barn' for nothing.

Then go after their factories, the education system (corner each Socialist Professor with their written lies and distortions - using only the tools of Truth and Rhetoric - rescind their license and have them go on trial for outright Sedition.).

Even then it can be bloodless - as it should.

Smash the cameras.

Cut the power to their communication towers.

Start trying interviewrs and spokesmen for 'Sedition against the Republic'.

No blood - they WANT the people to do just that. I've read this scenario over and over and found it is the same recipe over and over again.

1. Give the zombies their 'hay and a barn' and declare them 'Dependents of the state' and they LOSE their right to VOTE for x years after the last payment of free stuff is given. If they are going to act like children, then they lose the perk of having a say in our adult matters (Voting).

2. Trials of Sedition for educators in Academia. If guilty, at best loss of license for Malpractice. At worst, cloistered imprisonment.

It is far past the time when African Americans accepted responsibility for their own condition. Their hope that somebody would bail them out, that manna would come from God to rescue them from their parlous condition, that President Obama would solve their problems, has turned out to be a snare and a delusion.

What they really need can only be supplied by themselves. They really need to raise children in stable families. To do this their women must cease to have children outside of wedlock. This costs nothing. Keep your pants on. Their men must stay out of jail, out of gangs and off drugs and booze. Again, this is not a resource issue. They need capital so they will have to save money. That is easier to do if you don't have out of wedlock children, drugs, booze and mass consumption trash to pay for.

They need education. It is available for free if they will study. Knowledge is cheap. Don't form gangs, form book clubs. Don't rap, study Duke Ellington.

I could go on, but I would have nothing new or startling to say.

I can predict that leftists will reject what I and most other Americans are saying. It makes no difference. What I say is true.

If you want salvation, you can find it. It is within you, not outside of you.

Many of Martin King's more militant followers advocated for violent insurrection rather than peaceful demonstrations.
He told them violence was a quick way to understand what the word "minority" actually means.

Kill anybody you have to ... as soon as you need to. It is as simple as that.
This is not a social experiment or a Peace Corps exercise. This is not touch football.
Whether by LE or military or militias or concerned citizens' groups, a push-back is the appropriate response to murderous looters and arsonist rioters.

It seems to me that whoever controls EBT cards controls the mob. That could even be the plan.

If I were jefe, a warning consisting of a 15% temporary reduction in EBT card balances, with the assurance that if the rioting promptly stopped and did not resume, the cards would be fully refilled next month. Along with a 50% reduction, or a complete, permanent cancellation of a rioter's EBT card — depending on the seriousness of the infraction — for anyone caught looting or rioting. Something along those lines.

That would promptly put a damper on things, no? EBT = Control. TPTB surely know that.

as at Ferguson (and Ferguson II, the Sequel), half the Baltimore crowd consisted of left-wing White/Jewish media flacks with hats on backwards and camera on shoulders, giving stage directions: "Le Shawn, throw brick thataway, Latwana, break window and grab toilet paper...Lights, Camera, Action!". I too can remember the 1960's. There were Black Men in those days: running gun battles with Marine and Army Units, dead bodies all over the place, entire cities on fire. But I still have hopes for today's Blacks, however deteriorated. In related news, Gov. Abbott says he will call out the Texas National Guard to "monitor" Op Jade Helm when Federal troops invade Texas, June ff. Altogether, this fractured country stands an excellent chance of being in a state of full Civil War by summer 2016

When did slums become ghettos? Historically a ghetto was a place you were required to live, like the Warsaw ghetto. Ghettos weren't slums like you see in Detroit or Baltimore.

My wife and I moved to the sticks last year from a major northeastern city. Watching the continuing unraveling, I am glad we are out in the middle of nowhere.

America has to contain these failed marxist experiments in urban voter plantations and let them literally burn themselvs out. There is no way this Republic can survive trying to save a leftist model that inevitably ends this way, and no political solution possible.

We have no constitutional mechanism to deal with marxist infiltration of government and media. There is no viable political solution the "voters" in these cities will tolerate except more marxism.

Contain them, and let nature run its course, a damn shame.
