Undecided Voter: someone who parades their stupidity as proof of their morality. -- David Burge ‏@iowahawkblog

The DRUDGE REPORT 2012 reveals this afternoon: TV RATINGS FOR VP DEBATE DOWN -27% FROM '08...

FOXNEWS 10,019,827
CBS 8,308,421
ABC 8,287,610
NBC 7,851,757
MSNBC 4,378,671
CNN 4,145,951

What does it mean? It means two things. First, Sarah Palin is a babe and without her many don't care to dial in on 90 minutes of an old geezer with bad plugs and windshield glare teeth grunting around an ernest young fellow with a predilection for putting a rutting rhino to sleep with a single spreadsheet. Absent a close race it just wasn't appointment television. The race, in case you haven't been paying attention, is no longer close.

The ratings confirm this. The drooping Veep debate ratings mean that, by and large, everyone that is really going to vote has decided who they are voting for and doesn't need to "evaluate" the Veep selections. They are irrelevant to the main business of 2012. After all, it is not called "The Vice-Presidential Election."

Yes, yes, we know all about these "undecided voters," but -- seriously -- fuck all five of them especially the four living in DC. Nobody, but nobody, is really undecided now.

Right now, today, I know, you know, we know and they know. Everybody knows. And the truth is that there are more, many more, of us in 2012 than there were in 2008. And we are all going to the polls whereas many of them are not. I know that they all say that they are, but you know how deeply and compulsively they lie so why would we believe them about this.

Our army appeared from out of nowhere back in 2010 and our army has only gotten bigger since then. It's not a standing army. We don't like standing armies. But it is an army and it knows that, come November, it has to march on the polls and eradicate this disease that has been infecting the body politic. It knows that November is the time to do it and elections are the way to do it.

If the army couldn't do it that way it would have to burn the disease out and nobody wants that. Not even Joe Biden and his rollicking sidekick. Especially not them.

Relax. We got this.

Some don't approve of early voting but I do, the sooner the better.

Every day this country has been abused and disrespected has been agony.

The wait is about over..I will be the first in line on the first day and pray for an avalanche.

OBAMA IS TOASTED AS BROWN AS A BENGHAZI SAFEHOUSE

You a raciss.

Glenn Beck, questioning a participant in Moron Trivia: "Where's Benghazi?"
Answer: "Wal-Mart?"

Yep.

Hey, Mother Jones, it's Democrat regime, not democratic regime, and neither Romney or Ryan are filth, corporate or otherwise. They are earnest men living in the world of elective politics, which forms bad habits of thinking.

It may well be that a degraded electorate needs to see a fuller display of the consequences of their ignorance, but I don't recall that working out so well in the last depression. Quite the contrary. That shit absolutely stuck to the walls. Part 2.

That was not the question. That is another question.

The fact is, we are getting the governments we deserve under universal suffrage and it is a testament to the old ways that we have lasted so long on a momentum they built. Blaming the politicians is a form of denial.

All that most right-wingers, as distinguished from Republicans, are asking for is a few more years before the reckoning. This is called cowardice. I admit it.

Posted by: james wilson at October 12, 2012 10:03 PM

We might not have a few years. It all may fall swifter than anyone could have foreseen.

I was glad to see this, and I share in the sentiment.

What I have anticipated for well on 20 years is a reaction to the ridicule our enlightened "liberal" friends impose upon anyone who disagrees with them -- hence, Biden's teeth. After 30, 40 years, people who believe in God, or oppose abortion, or who don't worship the state, must just fight back. I think the only reason they haven't is because the circumstances haven't yet precipitated it, but retribution is on its way -- and may first appear as ridicule, which appears to be happening.

I'm still undecided. Not sure if I should vote for Romney or against Obama.

Posted by: OldFert at October 13, 2012 7:08 AM

Old Fert: yes.

It’s not personal, Barack. It’s strictly business.

Oh, wait. Yes. it. is.

Yo, Mother Jones,

Only saw a couple of "teenage girls" and those batons looked pretty cheesy in action. Prolly just a bit of rubber. Watch closely: most of those struck barely flinch!

Anyway, the wimpy Spaniards can't respond in kind because they've been stripped of meaningful firepower by the likes of you and your ilk, under the guise gun control!

Here, if the cops tried that crap with serious batons on serious TP'ers, they'd face a storm of 9mm, .556 and .40SW; so as to make them wet their pants!

Well said, and I couldn't agree more. In fact my current project (inspired by the VP debate focus group morons) hits some of the same notes. Watch for it on Sunday.

I NEED Romney to win. I can't bare another 4 years of the brown one. Go ahead, call me racist. I was never a racist, but Obama is turning me into one. I needed to see this article. I needed to see, "Relax. We got this" THANK YOU!

From a gal who lives amid the horrid democrats that she once was a part of.

When I was young I had the impression that among the "cool" set, and you were uninformed about the issues, the Democrats were cool and the Republicans were old totalitarians. I saw the Democrat ad showing the wine bottle being poured at the top of the pile of glasses and the bottom glass only got a few drops: a picture of "trickle down" economics. It was a lie, but I believed it. In fact, the wealthiest got the smallest tax cut, those just below them got a larger tax cut, and so on and so forth, until the poorest got the largest tax cut.
Aside from those not paying too much attention to what is actually taking place, I think that the majority of average American voters are unhappy with the direction this country has taken and whose own lives have been impacted by the policies of this administration, will be voting against Obama.

"Relax, we've got this covered." Nice.

Posted by: AbigailAdams at October 16, 2012 9:33 AM

The only reason that the media and polling companies keep saying that this race is still close is to get viewers and readers to rake in the advertising dollars. We all know that Obama will be raked over the coals (literally) come November 6th. The defeat of Barack Obama will be so huge, that it will take the Commies at least 40 years to regroup.

We HAVE to be out in large numbers as cheating only works if it's close. I live in Ohio and have only seen a few obozo signs or bumper stickers. In 2008, this area was lousy with them. That gives me hope...
