"Is this the barbershop? Is this the barber shop? Is this the barbershop?"

Eddie: There are three things that Black people need to tell the truth about.

Number one: Rodney King should've gotten his ass beat for being drunk in a Honda a white part of Los Angeles. Number two: O.J. did it! And number three: Rosa Parks didn't do nuthin' but sit her Black ass down!

I saw this movie with my Lily White Assed daughter and her black girlfriend when it came out. We snuck all the way to the top back row and watched the audience watching the movie. It was like a free movie in a movie. We left unmolested.
That probably wouldn't happen nowadays.

I guess they all walk around talking like that when White folks is not around. Complete with the chicken wings.

Way back when I was but a wee lad my ol' gray haired pappy tole me, "You got yer colored folks and you got yer niggers, and they ain't the same thing."

He was right then, and his words are still right today. Rural negro's are different than urban ones and it's right up front in your face obvious.
