Want to know what 17 million pounds of pot looks like? The Center for Investigative Reporting takes a heady look at how much marijuana is seized at the U.S.-Mexico border. “For forty something years we have lost this war on drugs and for forty something years we have lost out butts on this. And I don’t care what Obama tells you, what Napolitano tells you, what Reagan tells you, we are so far behind the curve on this its pathetic.” -- Sheriff Arvin West, Texas

And still nobody who wanted to get high had any real trouble finding pot here.
Posted by: B Moe at July 10, 2013 10:33 AMYes, it's pathetic, but as the War on Drugs has been built up into a crucial moral crusade, it's heavily against the odds that the government will ever "declare victory and withdraw." Until the narcotraficantes actually purchase Washington, D.C., anyway.

I have no doubt that the narcotraficantes HAVE purchased Washington, D.C.
Based on the strategy of monopoly:
1-Never give anything away for nothing;
2-Never give more than you have to give; (always catch the buyer hungry and always make him wait)
3-Always take everything back if you possibly can;
Well, yes, ... but if it can save just one child ...
Oh, and not leave any of 'em behind. yep.
