Wait, what?

Next up: how to be a fundamentalist. Also very easy, just disagree with Pat's definition of secular and democratic. Notice the use of the weasel-word "unnecessary" suffering while discussing butchering animals. Notice also that Pat doesn't want a free democratic society, no, it must be secular. With proper thinking state officials telling children what to believe. Whatever he is offering, I'll take a pass.

You don't have to buy the whole loaf.

Pat Condell is an avowed atheist and in my book the only religion more totalitarian than socialism is atheism. And, they usually go hand in hand. The problem with atheism is that there is no eternal judgement they can defer to so THEY feel they have to achieve justice now. The Christian is instructed to demure on many injustices because we're confident that if we demonstrate grace, then God will take care of the situation in eternity. The atheist doesn't have this mechanism ... and it is in their efforts to right humanities wrongs in this life that so many evils have been committed. It becomes a nightmare of relativism.

So, while Pat's outspoken ire at the left scratches a personal itch for me in that he irritate the left, I sure wouldn't want him in any government position anywhere in my community.

He may be right sometimes, but if he were allowed to go all the way, he would be worse than the leftist he so detests.

I don't see how his being an atheist has anything to do with this video. Doesn't the Bible say something about 'the song, not the singer'?

British. Therefore, unimportant.

Money quote:

"What do you mean you don't understand?
You are not meant to understand.
You are meant to shut up and knuckle under, you racist!"

You may not agree with part or all of the message but Mr. Condell deserves much praise for his outspokenness and refusal to be intimated by the forces that have rendered most of the world silent. We would all benefit mightily from thousands, nay millions, of Pat Condells speaking firmly and loudly what we most of us are thinking. Perhaps that might turn back the dark forces slowly but surely enveloping Europe and other parts of the world.

"British. Therefore, unimportant." So says an American. Thus the rest of the world can say:

"American. Therefore, uninformed."

True, that.
