The LGBT (or is it LBGT?) community has been accreting in SF since the 60's. They reached critical mass about 10 years ago and have used the power that created to control the city.

When I went to SF recently, I took the antidote of hanging out with spectacularly beautiful, and actual, young women. Maybe that's why the only bad thing I came way with was a cold I caught from one of the young ladies. I completely missed the uglies.

Incidentally, the SFPD is beginning to develop an ugly reputation. They are suffering from the same overbearing bullying attitude as any other major city PD these days. They're "enlightened" attitude on repugnant deviance notwithstanding.

I remember that recently one of the head honcho's in the local LGBT game was arrested for possessing child pornography. Harvey Milk's grim legacy comes to mind, as does recent comments by Dawkins downplaying pedophilia. Then there's the article I read today about Germany and the decriminalization of incest. Add SF's long history of Satanism, and the dark world of the porn industry thereabouts...I dunno, kinda bleak eh?

When traditional values, implemented, fine-tuned for 100's of years to uplift human beings and their interactions are abandoned, what is substituted are the practices that have been discarded over those 100's of years by the practitioners of civilization.
