Great Minds Mock Alike

Yesterday, Richard Fernandez speaks of the clown car. Last night my embellishment of Fernandez's clown car metaphor. This morning this: Day by Day Cartoon by Chris Muir.

Then there is this comment on NeoneoCon's article, The Magical, Mysterious, Disappearing Obama Red Line, at PJMedia: "Once again, the Presidential limousine has pulled up before an expectant crowd, the door is opened, sand out jumps a guy in a clown suit, who starts twisting balloons into animals. The journalists all pretend it has some deep and fundamental meaning, while the rest of us stand there in slack-jawed disbelief wondering how we could have let this happen."
