Going on the NoBama Diet Here, Boss

[Snarky Illustration of Key Title Word Deleted]

In the comments to They say that if you want a friend in Washington get yourself a dog... @ AMERICAN DIGEST Daphne notes:

I'm tired of seeing the failure in chief constantly splashed across your front page.

Seriously, why so much time spent linking to scatty bullshit on this incompetent, inconsequential asshole?

I'd much rather read your thoughts on almost any other topic than our current presidential travesty. I'm way overbaked on Obama.

To which I reply to her sage counsel,

You know, Daphne, that was my thought exactly this afternoon. I'm sick of this schmuck too. I think I'll take a turn and turn away from these brimming bowls of steaming pundit kibble.

And so be it. I'm taking the cure and purging the page of his puss over the next day or so. He really is a revolting example of a "person," made only more revolting by all those who still "believe."

Oh well, God will punish them.

Of course, it will only be a matter of time before I'm forced to post,

Maybe a couple of Joe Biden Moments a week will help keep the edge off.

And us entertained.

No failure to communicate here, boss!

Man, can Daphne elucidate.

Obama is the gift that keeps on giving, even more so than Biden these days.. although I do agree with Daphne that he is a "presidential travesty". Let's just look at it as a really, really bad reality show. Perhaps in 2012 we will elect an actual grown-up. Following the midterm elections, even I am considering removing the "got remorse?" bumper sticker that I purchased before the conclusion of his inaugural speech, with little Pepsi-Obama icons for the "o" in "remorse". I couldn't have imagined how prophetic it would prove to be. I wouldn't quite call it beating a dead horse.. But I, like Daphne, am ready for the future. Something fresh. Something genuine, like Chris Christy or Nikki Haley. Good news for us all is that 2011 marks Ronald Reagan's 100th birthday.. I plan to party Obama's third year away. I should purchase a Reagan bumber sticker to replace the redundant one I currently display.
