Globe jumps the gun in online map goof - BostonHerald.com

Not so fast. In a premature online Dewey beats Truman moment, boston.com today posted an online map of Massachusetts voting results declaring Attorney General Martha Coakley the winner of today’s special U.S. Senate election.

Whoops.

If the final electoral map looks anything at all like the "test" map the Boston Globe had best declare an indefinite furlough for all employees and double-down on its fire insurance.

Boston Globe gets a full-face egg special for getting this one so wrong. It's over in MA and The Republic has a pulse.
