Autumn in the Blue Ridge Mountains

For the past month, I've taken the lease at The Glass Mountain Treehouse. An amazing time of nearly perfect weather and an autumn that would defeat Seurat and challenge Monet.

And what a lovely place it is. Makes you want to say grace, doesn't it?

There is something about being in the Appalachains that encourages introspection and calm in the same way that the Rockies encourage frenetic action and parties. And it is pronounced with the short "a" unless you want to be branded as a pretentious flat-lander. Being there makes me feel better about everything in general and I am glad to see that you appreciate the area.

Welcome to God's Country. We're building a house nearby and know just what you mean. We'll preserve our ten acres and pond as a natural park for our children, neighbors and future children.

The best way to preserve our natural world is for individuals to buy some and make it so.

Y'think Algore will give me carbon credits?

Ahh! There may be more beautiful places than the Blue Ridge in the fall; but it suits me.
