Really well done reports putting the assorted pou pous of global warming in reasonable perspective.

Meanwhile, just back home, I made the mistake of passing by the Gore's house this afternoon, only to find road blocks in both directions....seems that aside from putting in a huge geothermal (?) alternative energy system that has the yard dug up in complete disarray, they're also bringing in a huge tree with a root system/ball the size of the planet Pluto. It appears this is requiring heroic efforts and a cast of thousands just to bring it down the street, not to mention inconveniencing the entire west side of the city so that Mr. Gore can rest a little easier in the land of carbon offsets.

This is such fun to watch...
