Ah, yes. The lovely Laguna sunset. Note the marine fowl (pelican?) zooming past at about 75 knots due to tail winds brought to you by the equally lovely Santa Ana winds. Dratted allergies...

Instant homesickness. Used to go surfing off Dana Point when I was a kid and spent a lot of time just up the road in LB. It's a long way from Indianapolis now, though.

I thought on first glance that was a pelican.
But on second glance, it looks like a shithawk
making a turn.
