1. Couldn't pitch from the mound.

2. Couldn't get the ball across the plate.

3. Couldn't agree with John Edwards
on who would be the pitcher and who
would be the catcher.
** Astute observers of last night's Bush Retrospective Video will have noted an extended passage commenting on the fact that during the World Series of 2001 in New York City, President Bush did indeed pitch from the mound and get the ball across the plate. Bush is also not confused about the Pitcher vs. Catcher question. He pitches. Coincidence? I think not.
wow... and did you know that bush was even wearing a bullet-proof vest when he threw that pitch? If for nothing else, I'm voting for him because of that!!
Posted by: johnny71 at September 3, 2004 1:00 PMAwww, that's cold. (Funny, but cold).
I can't throw to save my life either.
I sorta felt sorry for Kerry there, because I just knew he was going to look dumb when he threw that dirt ball.
Posted by: Eric Blair at September 3, 2004 1:10 PMBut then that's Kerry isn't it? He has absolutely no clue about how he or his actions are perceived by others:
- obnoxious yellow biking tights on an obnoxious, expensive bike (tip: don't wear tights when you legs are long and skinny)
- rediculous, for someone his age and stature, snow board outfit with wraparound sun glasses
- same sunglasses on sale board
- same sunglasses on Harley
Give me a feakin' break already. I can much better relate to someone wielding a chain saw and sweating than all this rich boy toy stuff.
What a dope!
