Rant0matic: Melinda McHenry Rants for Me

Melinda McHenry gives all America her red-head rant of the day. In a word, blistering.

It’s getting to the point where we are beyond that “awkward stage.”

The reference to that “Awkward stage”, was written 30 years ago.
May I suggest that the “Awkward stage” has passed…..I expect we will be going kinetic within weeks.
    This is not a test.
There is no one coming to save you.
    Prepare to repel hostiles.

I’m becoming very pessimistic about this. I’m afraid that this country has been dead for a long time. We’ve been smelling the stench, but ignoring it, staying in denial over it, or hoping the nation will somehow come back to life someday. It won’t. It’s gone. This virus shit has ripped the mask off the lies, so to speak. The masses are brainwashed, obedient TV-zombies. We’re not getting America back, not now, not soon, not fucking ever. Not even Trump can save it at this point. I keep hoping he’ll say, or do something, but he’s in the same trap we all are. If Trump stopped the lockdown tomorrow, the governors would enforce it until they were hauled out of office in handcuffs. TV stations would blame every death in the country on Trump, just like they’re lying about the numbers of deaths from the virus. One of the banners at the HB protest threatened civil war. It would not surprise me.
Who’s gonna stand? You saw the HB protest, the cops and their horses and motorcycles. They were not there to support either the People, or the constitution. They were there to support the governor, and keep his boot on your neck. They were only too happy to flex their power in keeping people from walking on the beach. They’d gladly arrest you and beat your ass for standing.

This Johnson County she speaks of is, essentially, Kansas City, Kansas with assorted suburbs and encroachments.

So, we’re down by Wichita. Governess Kelly was supposed to lift all the sanctions on Monday. Instead, yesterday she came out of her burrow, saw her shadow and gave us 6 more weeks of phased tyranny. Mrs. went thermonuclear. “Who’s doing Kelly’s hair, you know she isn’t doing it herself!”

This will not end well and Ms McHenry nails it, straight up, with a hot poker.

  • Jewel May 1, 2020, 8:34 PM

Kansas City News station KSHB 41 interviewed her for 16 minutes because of this video, and only used 5 seconds. The media is so irrelevant.

  • Sally J Dungan May 1, 2020, 8:39 PM

As a redhead, I approve of this message.

  • andre May 1, 2020, 9:16 PM

Love this woman. Will vote for her. We have an insane governor here in California who claims it will be “months” before salons and churches will open.

  • Tom May 2, 2020, 2:29 AM

It’s already been ‘Sorry, something went wrong’ed right off the net. But they’re working to get it back, don’t worry.

No reference to it on Gulag, at least that Gulag would let me see.

…I always just figured I could win in life by going to the polls. But it’s clear to me it’s going to take more than votes to get our rights restored.

I did not listen to the raging red-heads entire rant, because she said all that needed to be said right at the very beginning of that rant, as quoted above.

It’s getting close to time to muster.

Johnson County = Kansas City, Kansas and some other adjacent communities.

We’re a little farther down the road around Wichita. Governess Kelly was alleged to wrap up the quarantine on May 4, but instead came out of her burrow, saw her shadow and gave us six more weeks of quarantine this week. Mrs. had appointments with beautician and nail person for next week, and went thermonuclear. “Who does HER hair, you can bet she isn’t doing it herself” and a few other things not fit for public discourse.

I believe SWMBO Kelly has stuck a nerve amongst the unwashed hick non-Topeka crowd. This will not end well.

Stop asking permission and just go back to work. If everyone did, there would be too many to stop.

  • Vanderleun May 2, 2020, 8:50 AM

You got that right, Mary. And in the end that’s what I suspect will happen…. unless there’s a shooting incident. Several.

  • ghostsniper May 2, 2020, 9:02 AM

If the business has been shut down by the gov’t how do you go back to work?
    Right.
    Know what’ll work?
    Work for yourself.
The only way they can shut you down is to kill you and by the time they do that it’ll take hours to find your body under that pile of spent brass.
Several my ass, continuous. Why let up?

  • Ron Olson May 2, 2020, 10:10 AM

I used to get hit by one of these with a flyswatter.
    Beautiful woman.

  • ghostsniper May 2, 2020, 1:36 PM

Ron sed: “I used to get hit by one of these with a flyswatter.”
    =======
At our house it was a wet dishrag,
Still got the weerd shaped marks on my back to prove it.
    Flyswatters hadn’t been invented yet.

  • Jewel May 2, 2020, 2:53 PM

My sis is no wet rag or flyswatter type. She’ll cut you to the quick with her cold steel, laser blue grey eyes. I’m older than her and I’m still skeert of her. My little brother couldn’t quite say with any conviction that YOU AREN’T THE BOSS OF ME (yes, she was and is and will forever be the boss of you) and so she became known simply as Bombossiddy. At the age of 5 she mastered the AAWTOF maneuver (arms akimbo while tapping one foot). Like a MA’AM. She could have been a drill sergeant.

She’s been broke so many times Trump has to consult her on how to bounce back from bankruptcy.

Some snobbish woman who ran an advertising agency, once looked down her high falutin’ nose at Malinda for being a mere hair stylist, until Malinda showed her the net worth of her various enterprises. She was once the official spray tanner for the Hooters hot babe competition in Florida.

When the Obama administration connived with the Department of Education to close down as many privately run beauty schools as possible, she was one of the last strongholds, and having jumped through every corrupt, dishonest, sleazy flaming hoop of incomprehensible demands made by the DOE, she finally threw in the towel and reinvented herself yet again. She beat the FEDS by doing online seminars and calling them ‘continuing education’ and skill upgrades. Do you think the government sees any money from her having done that? Her former students now pay less by doing video conferences than they could ever pay with student loans foisted upon them by the government loan sharks that drove her out of business. She now writes whole chapters for MILADY, which is the one of the only textbooks used to teach cosmetology for the remaining vocational schools that still teach cosmetology. (These are run by the US Department of Education.)

I cannot begin to tell you how many poor, single mother, minority and immigrant young women became hardworking, taxpaying citizens under her tutelage. She is not just a brilliant teacher, but became a mother to many of these girls. I have done nothing even remotely close in my own life, like the things this woman has done. And she never makes you feel like shit for it…unless you NEED to feel like shit, and then, she’s more than happy to help you feel like shit.

As an update to her rant….her staff chickened out. THEY ARE SCARED OF LOSING THEIR LICENSES! The woman is willing to lose everything, including her freedom, and her employees won’t come in. I really hope she still opens on Monday.

I recall reading once, that if a marching band had but stood on the bridge between Alsace and Germany, the Nazis would have run back into Germany.

Our descendants will either laugh at us, or weep at how spineless we are. My sister won’t be remembered as a spineless, quaking plate of Jell-O, that’s for damn sure.

  • Gordon Scott May 2, 2020, 3:34 PM

That’s the thing about reopening a business. You pretty much have to have the permission of the local, and sometimes state and federal, government to operate. They may not bother to arrest you for walking on the beach, but they can definitely make sure your business is dead, dead, and will never reopen.

  • Grace May 2, 2020, 7:31 PM

Great harangue. Thanks for posting it. Shocked to discover Kansas had voted for a NYC woman for governor that was pro obama care and that Kansas first state to do k-12 closures for virus scare.
Reading a commenter above, I was shocked that the Obama administration wanted to control even
    cosmetology schools.

  • Malinda McHenry May 3, 2020, 7:20 AM

Well I did not expect my rant to get so much support. Mary I’m going to do just that and go back to work, albeit I will have no customers or staff (they’re running scared from threat of fines or being arrested). Fingers crossed I can survive the unfounded proximity fears they’ve created since my business model is all about nuturing and touch. PS sorry about the bad woords… Darn that Irish ancestry!

  • Nori May 3, 2020, 8:07 AM

Wow,Jewel and Malinda. Absolutely EPIC rants, from both of you! Spot On,and Bravo!
The one good thing about this lockdown jackassery is that it has exposed our OverLords and Ladies for what they truly are. Vicious, ugly people drunk on power.
Sunlight is a marvelous disenfectant, and they can’t hide from the needless suffering they’ve deliberately inflicted.

Prayers to you and yours. Thanks for proving real American women are pretty darn awesome.

  • DrTedNelson May 3, 2020, 1:30 PM

    Soon. Let’s settle this.
