The La-Z-Boy of the Labyrinth

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, and every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Noting exists except the endless present in which the party is always right.” – George Orwell, 1984

First, you must understand what drives the majority of leftists and 100% of leftist politicians – laziness.

I’m not talking about the hard-working life-long union democrat. The tradesman or laborer who actually produces something of value and votes democrat “because that’s how grand-daddy did it and we’re a democrat family damnit!” I’m talking the Hillary Clinton’s, the Debbie Wasserman-Schultzes, the Stalin’s, the Mao Zedong’s, the SJW’s, the Bernie Sanders, the leftist professors, the MSM and their journalism-majoring ilk, nearly all liberal arts majors, and the Game-Of-Thrones-esque North Korean leaders. All of them, democratically elected or not, politicians or not, are the world’s “leftist elite” who deem it their right and position in life to tell others what to do. To lead, but never toil in the field. To command, but never contribute one calorie of energy to bringing about their “glorious leftist utopia.” All of them, NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY, are driven first and foremost by laziness. And this laziness trumps EVERYTHING, EVERYONE, AND ANYTHING in their lives. It rules their lives. It dominates their psyche. It determines and influences every decision. Their entire operating program, their entire point and purpose in life is simply to avoid toil, work, and rigor as much as possible. Captain Capitalism: Why the Left Will Always and Inevitably Eat Their Own

Black America is in jeopardy.

For every 100 black women of marrying age there are only 81 men: the rest are dead or in jail. Seventy-three percent of African-American children are born out of marriage. Although universities admit blacks and whites in roughly equal proportions, only 40% of black men graduate within six years of matriculation. Agony over these circumstances motivates the witch-hunt against imagined “micro-aggression,” as I wrote two years ago. The “micro-aggression” theory does not explain why African-American women (who presumably are doubly oppressed for being both black and female) have a much higher college graduation rate (50% as opposed to 40%) than black men. Now, to the people who lived through the 50’s and 60’s, it probably felt as if the youth simply went insane and tried to drag the nation with them. Just as we are seeing today, it was the ruling elite that went bonkers, abdicating their duties and letting their rotten kids go berserk in the streets. That’s the important part of it though. The late 60’s and early 70’s were a multi-generational war on decency. The youth rampaging through the streets, terrifying the white middle-class, did so at the behest of their parents. I think the rise of social media — and especially the widespread use of Twitter by journalists and politicians — has made things much crazier. Thanks to the ability to block or unfriend people with whom one disagrees, it’s much easier to live in a political/ideological bubble than it was even a decade ago. And my impression is that many journalists now write and tweet more to impress their peers than to serve their audiences. Trump hysteria & an eclipse usher in our crazy years

Also for posterity,

here’s what was happening before Trump spoke: right-wing websites and Alt-Tech sites such as Gab were hit with massive DDoS attacks today. Daily Stormer was kicked off GoDaddy and tried hosting with Google, was denied. Discord kicked “Nazis” off the site. Several corporate CEOs quit Trump’s economic council because he didn’t condemn the rally hard enough. Intel, Merck and Wal-Mart are three I know of. Sultan Knish: Virtue and the Moral Fall of Civilization As a civilization declines, it becomes barbaric. Before the savages invade it from the outside, its own people have become savages. They enthusiastically welcome the savages. They are drawn to the culture and norms of the savages because these echo their own descent into barbarism. The cult of the noble savage is simply civilized barbarians glamorizing their own descent down the moral ladder.

The left plan « The plan was that Hillary would be elected, then they would do to conservatives, including cuckservative Republicans, what they did to Nazis. With the unexpected loss of the presidency, the plan is being adapted in an ad hoc fashion. If “Russia stole the election” had worked, they would have taken out Trump, then the right. Now they are going to attempt to take out any and all Trump loyalists, then take out Trump, then implement the original plan.

Tom Wolfe dubbed the idea “Starting from Zero” in an article he wrote originally in the mid-1980s or ’90s, but it’s amazing how well it dovetails with what we’re seeing with the Occupy Wall Street gang:

In 1968, in San Francisco, I came across a curious footnote to the hippie movement. At the Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic, there were doctors treating diseases no living doctor had ever encountered before, diseases that had disappeared so long ago they had never even picked up Latin names, diseases such as the mange, the grunge, the itch, the twitch, the thrush, the scroff, the rot. And how was it that they now returned? It had to do with the fact that thousands of young men and women had migrated to San Francisco to live communally in what I think history will record as one of the most extraordinary religious fevers of all time. The hippies sought nothing less than to sweep aside all codes and restraints of the past and start from zero. At one point, the novelist Ken Kesey, leader of a commune called the Merry Pranksters, organized a pilgrimage to Stonehenge with the idea of returning to Anglo-Saxon’s point zero, which he figured was Stonehenge, and heading out all over again to do it better. Among the codes and restraints that people in the communes swept aside–quite purposely–were those that said you shouldn’t use other people’s toothbrushes or sleep on other people’s mattresses without changing the sheets, or as was more likely, without using any sheets at all, or that you and five other people shouldn’t drink from the same bottle of Shasta or take tokes from the same cigarette. And now, in 1968, they were relearning…the laws of hygiene…by getting the mange, the grunge, the itch, the twitch, the thrush, the scroff, the rot. The Endless Hazing of Trump by Sanctimonious Frauds | The American Spectator   A host of “conservatives,” who are just me-too liberals looking for pat on the head from the media for their “fairness” and “decency,” jumped at the chance to smear Trump for his supposedly “disgraceful” response to the Charlottesville violence. Beneath all of their virtue-signaling blather lay a demand to Trump born of their own PC-deferring cowardice: unless you say what the self-appointed ruling class wants you to say and say it in the manner they want it said, while not saying what they don’t want you to say, you are a racist.

Would this extensive list of his accomplishments make you feel super-awkward?  Did you think that no progress in building the â€œwall” would be embarrassing for Trump supporters? Or did you see the New York Times confirm that progress is being made?

The Broken Clock | The Z Blog There is a strain of Afro-centrism that insists the ancient Egyptians were black. They go through the list of pharaohs, pointing out how each one had distinctly African features. The “Hotep” thing grows out of this. The sort of people who attend a Juneteenth festivals will have the word “Hotep” attached to them in some way. Black business people will put this on their business card or website to signal to other blacks that they are down with the cause. It is complete nonsense, of course, but the reason we know it is nonsense is the Egyptians preserved their past in memorials of stone, often filled with hieroglyphs so precise that we can know the exact order of their rulers, four thousand years after their time. The Egyptians were so careful preserving their dead rulers that we have fully intact mummies in our museums. Using modern science, we now know how they looked in life and how they fit into the emerging genetic mosaic of the human family.

Ugly All the Way Down I’m noticing more and more, when I’m out and about in a large crowd, that there are more “Pat’s” in the world these days, if you know what I mean. People whose gender cannot be easily determined from a first or even a second look. And none of these people are hotties, either male or female. Lots and lots of out of shape, saggy and baggy, young to old folks. And the expressions on their faces are not happy or joyful now that they have what they want. They just look…sad, with a bit of what-are-you-lookin-at thrown in.

Forrest tells it straight: “just like that.” Just like that: people were led by their emotions to believe Lefty propaganda.

What truly scares me in this whole statue hating program is the participation of governors and mayors. I guess I’m just thankful that the chief executive isn’t pushing it, too. I think one of the most enduring things we’ll remember about Obama, even as we try to flush him emotionally from out psyche, is his glad-handing of BLM at the time when they were causing violence in the streets, to include 5 officers shot to death in Dallas. Maybe we need to erect a statue to the shooter in honor of BLM. The irony would burn.

Laziness is at the heart of all human failures and it is a trait that is non-escapable but very controllable.
    What is laziness’s hapless spawn?
    Ignorance.
You cannot have continued ignorance without laziness.

But I’m not convinced that laziness is the root of what’s dissolving this country now.
Again, I believe it is a lack of moral fiber brought on by a gov’t that is based in immorality and forces everything it encounters to do likewise.

When you allow one immoral behavior you encourage ALL immoral behavior.

It is not possible in a sane world for you to practice immoral behavior and it is considered a crime but if the gov’t practices the same behavior it is considered legal and necessary.

You can ignore principles but you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring principles and principles will always win in the end.

Principles are like the human equivalent of nature, they just are.
Like gravity, magnetism, air, and water.
You either honor them or suffer them.
    Your choice.

    Captain Capitalism —
Why assign the mediocrity of laziness to the mood more accurately called malice. Malice planned, promoted, performed, and praised.

Time to dump the terms with equivalent meanings, Left and Right. Try using the more thought provoking, Wrong and Correct. It gets one considering values and consequences of proposed action.

I know, too complicated to think about adequate evidence for position taken and responsibility for consequences of action taken. Easier to play numb and dumb.

I saw the start of this in the 60’s. I started college in 1964 and acquired an AA degree in 1966. I decided to get my military duty behind me and finish college when I got out of the military. When I attended college for the AA degree the students were quite well dressed, the men in sports jackets or maybe a Vee neck sweater and often with a tie. The women actually wore dresses, about knee length, and many in high heels. When I returned to college in 1969 everyone dressed the same, like hobos camped out by the railroad tracks. And there behavior was barbaric, much like Antifa, and as most recently separated military men are easily identifiable, they were none too friendly. Being greeted in the student union with “did you kill any babies today” was par for the course. So none of this, from Ferguson to Charlottesville is any surprise as it will get much, much, worse. But a hint to Antifa, burn baby burn is on my side now. Are you a corporatist funding this BS or maybe the bus company moving these thugs around….the insurance companies may make you whole at the start but after a few settlements you are CANCELED.
