Yesterday morn we did lose our internet. The outage lasted 2 hours then only the social sites came back. You know, the ones used to coordinate dark events.
I was shitting bricks. The news said a manhole cover blew and an underground wiring bundle in Spokane was burned. Later reports said it was only a fire, but the pictures showed the cover torn in two.
Absolutely the internet would go out. the insurrection won’t be broadcast but it fukking is going down now.
On military things, be advised that the SecDef is not in the direct chain, nor are the service chiefs. The combatant commander is Northern Command and she (ahem) is a USAF general of the same dates of rank as me. Just a personal note: she doesn’t look very warlike to me. I never did figure out if federalized NG are immune from their governor’s fuckwits, but it may be the case. I will research that.
These generals in the US need a surge of legal minds in their breast pockets right now. A fukton of illegal orders are about to head down.

Cuomo is starting Phase One of the end of the CoronaVirus Lockdown.
Phase One?? finally! I can’t wait, only three more months for all restrictions to be lifted.
Meanwhile, restaurants in the suburbs will be allowed to have tables on the sidewalk, 6 feet apart, but no tables inside. Patrons must wear masks when not seated.
The side walks will become impassable, people will be walking in the streets, cars will hit them. Oh well.

My husband and I just had our first restaurant meal in suburban Chicago since March 10th while seated outside—all that’s allowed in our lockdown state of IL. We tried to pretend that we were at a cafe in Paris. The parks, botanical gardens, zoos, and any place you would want to go to enjoy the beautiful summer weather, are closed down, as are libraries. Never fear though—they have all issued statements of solidarity with the looters, so it’s all good. Stores and hair salons are just being allowed to start opening a bit, if we behave ourselves like good little sheeples. In Chicago, Lori Liarfoot has Lakeshore Drive, the Lakefront beaches and paths, major corridors, major train routes, L lines, and bus lines all shut down. She has gridded off areas of downtown where only residents can enter and exit, meaning employees can’t drive to work in the newly allowed to be open businesses. Looters and anarchists have branched out into the suburbs to destroy malls, since they have had free will to sack all of the Magnificent Mile including all 9 floors of the historic Macy’s/ Marshall Fields, jewelry stores, beauty supply shops, shoe stores, and black owned mom and pop businesses—with the cops being threatened by the mayor if they attempt to do their job.

Not immediately, but eventually.
First, let as many as possible immolate, cannibalize, kill each other. At the same time many of the upper crust will flee.
Second, define what you are defending. NYFC? LA? Minn.? Really? Why? Let em burn, they do us no favor, we don’t need em. DC? Don’t need that neither. Burn.
So what’s worth defending? Remember, there are no red or blue states, counties, or cities. Everything is purple. So what do you do? Turn Baltimore to glass? Do you have family there?
The people in the areas that are dissolving are going to have to make their own decisions on what is worth saving. Same everywhere really. Me? I’ll defend to the death my own little slice of heaven and hell. Maybe my neighbors too. Maybe not. I don’t know, truthfully, where they stand and I cannot find out. Every form of falsehood is now on display and nothing is trustworthy. Currently I am not willing to die for anyone but myself and my wife – everything else is expendable as far as I’m concerned.

When I wore butterfly stripes on my green collar (PV2 NG and fukn young), in 1975, I heard lectures by WW II vets and watched Vietnam era and WW II era training films. The guys fresh back from Vietnam were all around me, and they were young and everything about them was hard and their eyes were staring a thousand yards away. One guy was fresh from the Watts riots.
