I know it’s an amazing day when, at the close, I see that Dennis Rodman speaks for me.

“The door will open.” MAGA!

After World War 2 my surviving uncle on my father’s side was with the army in North Korea at Chosin. My grandparents got him pulled out of Korea since they had already lost one son in WW 2.

My uncle never, ever, spoke of the war but one day when I was young and fooling around in his garage I discovered an envelope full of black and white snapshots that he had taken at Chosin and brought home with him.

In black and white photos I remember that the blood around mounds of NORK bodies was the color of dark shadows on the snow and one picture showed a pair of boots with human feet still inside and bones showing at the top.

That was 68 years ago. This war needs to be over. May today, dear Lord, be the day that door opened.

I a remember a box of similar photos from WWII. Not my dad’s, but the father of a girl I was playing with, and the box was in the basement where we were. Pictures of trucks with bodies stacked in the back, that sort of thing. War may not be the worst thing, but it is bad enough.

All of the ethnics Koreans I have been associated with here in the USA, it has been a pleasure. They are courteous, industrious, cheerful, and usually very smart. I have to work very hard to keep up.

I was talking to my supervisor about a year ago about his Northern cousins, and allowed as how the evidence that the NoKo’s in spite of their terrible circumstances made themselves ABombs and the missiles to loft them, was yet another example of the ability and cultural disposition of the Koreans to work hard and excel.

We may yet see (and I pray we see it), a history-rhyming North Korean economic miracle. I pray that it hasn’t been bred out of them by 70 years of grinding evil Marxist misrule. (I suspect the Sinos and Nipos fear such a thing.) Should that day come, I hope Trump tells the fairy Norges to stuff their cheap medal where the sun don’t shine.

I’m watching a live signing ceremony on youtube/ Trump & Kim.

The Korean War was a suckfest. If Trump does pull this off, the Left can suck it for life. They are truly inhuman.

Rodman: I don’t know much @ him, and admit I thought he was crazy for going to NORKland. Great to see his retort, and it shows you how you can misunderstand a public figure. Also, Trump does raise those around him. Like. A. Boss.

As a highly experienced american business man Trump has far more success oriented tools in his negotiation toolbox than any gov’t employee could ever muster.

Gov’t employee has a well used-abused carrot and stick.
Trump has the entire grocery and hardware store.
No wonder he keeps on winning, he’s playing against children.

My Dad was a member of the Frozen Chosin (Marines). He suffered the effects of that honor his entire adult life. He would be glad to see it all end this way. I wish he was here to see it.

Kevin: my compliments. I was also thinking about my uncles, now deceased, who were infantrymen in Korea. I’m looking forward to that headline splashed above the fold: Korean War Ends!

In the event, I see the UK headline this morning was something @ Trump will build hotels in North Korea. That. Is. Some. Shit. How long until someone burns that haggy presshouse down?

This stacks up along with Reagan at Reykjavik with Gorby, and Nixon in China with Mao. Historic event check-box. The press won’t tell you. You have to maintain your own long memory. Why do I feel like we’re in a sort of Middle Ages?

Never mind. Trump brings a ‘yuge victory with the de-nuke treaty on the KP. Yes to businessman presidents. Except for Shultz. f’him.

For those who would like to know about the event there is a Netflix feature called “The Battle of Chosin”.

Ever since that day in 1950 when I overheard my parents worrying that dad might be recalled into the Navy Korea has been a worrisome nagging presence, the 38th Parallel looming. Finally, mirabile dictu, it might go away and let us sleep in peace. Thank you, Donny Two Scoops.

    Noble. Peace. Prize.

Then….THEN I hope Trump turns it down and gives it to Whoa Fat. Just to REALLY stick it both the committee, who are assclowns, and to show up the last guy who occupied the White House…what’s his name?…who didn’t have the nads, nor intestinal fortitude, to turn down his completely undeserved participation trophy.

Second term in the bag. Suck it Lefty losers.
