Biden’s Comic Relief: I stole all of this from Neo at the NewNeo because I’m burnt out this afternoon

Neo observes: I don’t know whether this is comic relief or just another reason to weep

Maybe both.

Joe Biden, addled backseat driver of the nation, and The Man Who Would Be President:

And here’s Biden’s shout-out to the governor of Massachusetts:

From the governor:

The Conservative Treehouse guy thinks it likely that the Dems will nominate Andrew Cuomo by acclimation. After looking at some of the drooling praise in the NY Post lately, I think they’re right.

Primaries are bullshit anyway, really nothing more than a means of taking a look at who the DNC thinks has the best chance. Apparently they’ve chosen senility over Communism. Joe’s been looking worse all the time, and they’re stuck with him.

BTW and FWIW, that Bird track is from 1949’s Charlie Parker With Strings, and didn’t the jazzers hate it. I was 4 years old. It was soon on the radio where it became a primary influence in my phrasing around the melody. Those sounds are like the echoes of bells in a distant room; I can smell the furniture and the floor polish and the dust in the curtains.

It’s all speculation from this distance but but what we do KNOW is that Joe has some big time health issues and as it turns into a genuine campaign they are going to be very much on display. I just do not see how this frail man is actually still on the ballot come September or October. I could actually see Hillary giving it another go should they bring it to her on a silver platter but I just don’t see that happening. Michelle O? Very unlikely. I think she’s happy enough where she is. Plenty of money and I don’t think she would be all that confident out on the campaign trail. That brings up Cuomo and, boy oh boy, do I ever think he’d like to step in and we should not want that. He’s a horrible person and a career politician but he knows how to campaign and could likely unify the wackadoodle far left and what remains of the somewhat sane left. It would be a genuine race between he and Trump.

    It’s a show about NOTHING.
    They got nothing.
It doesn’t matter who they sit up on the pedestal because it isn’t going to win, at least not the way you think it should.
Something brand new, never seen before, lies in wait for the national election in Nov.
You will galled. You will be appalled. Your fists will be balled. You’ll wish you had spent ALL your money over the last 6 months on ammo – cause you will be seeing red. You’ll have a fever and the prescription is revenge. That November wind will be cold and bristling but inside you’ll be boiling over. You already knew this.

Watching this spectacle over the past 3 years has shown you, has primed you, for the greatest show on earth as it fast approaches. But wait, it won’t be a long dry spell til then. Oh no, not by a long shot. There will be endless smaller tricks of the trade to distort reality for you. In the end the premise is that to have a loser in a 2 man pit fight you also have to have a winner, but if both men kill each other there is no winner. There will be a 2nd pit fight. And a 3rd. and so on. Eventually everyone will be in the fight. Even you. You are being drawn in presently. Little by little, and you don’t even know it. Things aren’t what they seem.
